    Kylie Minogue

Does anyone have an audio version of KylieX2008? Unfortunately the DVD didn't come with a CD Why, Kylie?, and I'm honestly too lazy to rip and convert it myself.
  2. I just found this video on YouTube and it's... quite something. I guess that's what happens when video game producers do drugs.
  3. This is better than most of Lana's released music.
  4. Gays as soon as they hear an acoustic guitar: EwWw WhY iS sHe DoInG cOuNtRy NoW???
  5. Talent won. I have no doubt about My My My! and Stop Me From Falling being my most played songs this year, but the list is not entirely correct because I got a free six-month Tidal subscription in June, so obviously I didn't use Spotify that much during the second half of the year. Otherwise I'm sure Lana and Venice Bitch would be represented too. But hey, I clearly love my Australian Gemini gay icons!
  6. An intelligent post? On LanaBoards? What has this place become???
  7. I already got my vinyls this week. Have yours arrived too?

    BANKS

She BETTER.flac come through with a double album.
  9. mArCh 29tH fAm This stupid trend of releasing the lead single(s) of an album before the album is even done needs to DIE.
  10. Only one, and that would be Tomorrow Never Came.
  11. Her magnum opus. I can't believe y'all are STILL sleeping on this masterpiece.
  12. @@Elle @mods please ban this binch, I am NOT willing to accept hate speech on my beautiful LanaBoards.

    Ava Max

Sweet But Psycho is a rather basic, but very fun bop. Doing great in several European countries, by the way: #1 in Germany and #6 in the UK!
  14. Ideally we'd get a long album that's still cohesive and doesn't have fillers, it's not like those two criteria are necessarily mutually exclusive. Alternatively I'd love her to go the Ultraviolence route again – release an 11-track album that is one body of art and make four or five extra songs available for the fans (bonus tracks etc.), but unfortunately Lana doesn't seem to be a fan of deluxe editions (anymore). The big problem I have with the "quality > quantity" argument is that not everyone defines a good or bad track the same way. Everybody has a different taste, so the song that one person might consider the absolute high point of an album might be one that someone else usually skips. That's why, if I had to choose between a short, cohesive album and a longer, less cohesive one, I'd probably go for the latter. There's nothing stopping you from making a ten-track playlist of your personal favourites for whenever you want a shorter listening experience. Because let's be honest, there are hardly any albums out there that don't have at least one song you don't really like. For me, personally, the main issue with Lust For Life isn't that it's an incohesive, "messy" album (although that's definitely a problem, too), but that the material in general wasn't up to her usual standard. That's why I find it hard to even make a short playlist that I would enjoy listening to on a regular basis – the songs are just not as good as they could (should) be. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Don't be gay, stream Born To Die today.
  15. It would be great if we got a vinyl booklet again. Or at least a regular booklet that looks nice.
  16. Why would they not be on the album? Firstly, she literally announced the album when talking about Venice Bitch, and secondly, she has never in her entire career released a single that wasn't part of an album (unless it was for an entirely different project, like a movie soundtrack). Which is something I love about Lana; random singles that aren't part of an album are the worst.

  18. Unrelated, but is it just me or is this fascinatingly similar to Casanova?
  19. I mean, I can definitely see where they're coming from. There's nothing wrong with her embracing her status as a gay icon, and if she can relate to gay men, that's nice, but she shouldn't relativise the actual struggle and discrimination that the LGBTQ community has been (and still is) going through, which she kinda does by comparing herself to them (us) in such a way.
  20. I only got the link from the PopJustice forums, somebody said that they've been ordering from there for years, so I don't think you have to worry about there being a catch. And yeah, mine are "buy now, more stock coming soon" too. I don't know when they'll be sent out, but I hope it'll be within a week or two.

    Kylie Minogue

How can you compare these two? Golden, sweetie, I am so sorry that this basic Joanne would even say that etc. But she's already confirmed that we're getting a "classic" dance/pop album next.
