Hm, it seems to be the same info we've heard a few days ago - that the album will be released "mid 2019". So the article just repeats this and assumes that it will result in a may to july relase.

Has anyone of you ever been to that location before? I read that the gigs aren't inside the castle but on the meadows around it and there have been up to 20.000 (!) people to some of the Malahide concerts this year. So it's not a small, intimate gig but has more of a festival feeling to it I guess. I'm very tempted to fly to Dublin nevertheless!

I hope this doesn't mean she will only do festival gigs in Europe next year... (But it probably does...) She tends to overplay the BTD hits there and she can't play as many songs as in her own gigs.

Same for me here. Mylène once was my "idol" and favourite singer (I even ran the german Mylène fansite for several years) so I could never imagine to not like her - but that's what happened after "Innamoramento"/"Avant que l'ombre": I slowly fell out of love with her (new) style and songs... and her last album is actually soooo bad I can not listen to it, it's a disgrace. So it might be possible that the same will happen to me with Lana in the future - BUT the difference is that Lana's always the one behind her music, writing her own melodies and stuff while Mylène really seems to be dependent of the songwirters/producers she works with (I really prefer Mylène's "ancient" works with Laurent Boutonnat btw). So I hope Lana will maintain her high quality. But there's no guarantee of course.

I haven't listened to the last few snippets because I don't want to spoil the excitement for the new album and I want the songs to stay somewhat fresh and new when I'm going to listen to them the first time (as soon as the album is out). That said I'm not hyped for a MGK collab but I'm still hoping it's for his album/project and not for Lana's...

Yeah, her live cover of HSB was really amazing; I was lucky that she performed it in Hamburg on her Paradise tour.

I hope so too. VB should count as 2 songs, so the album basically has at least 12 songs on it.

You're very brave Unfortunately even when I don't listen to VB I constantly hear the music in my head now ... So I need to put other music on to distract me from that.

You just have to repat the song over and over until you get lost in the music and see the light.

It's interesting to see how divise VB is - one of my friends who is more into Indierock and heavy guitars never could stand her music but he really likes VB. Another friend, who's a huge fan of her BTD era, hates it and thinks she's making boring 70's music now. So I guess (as with every record) Lana will lose some of her (Pop-)fans with the new album but she'll also gain new fans from other genres. But all those people who don't like the 2 new songs and who probably won't like NFR can relax - you'll only have to wait 15-18 months before Lana will release a new album which probably will show a complete change in direction again (maybe back to a more Pop-ish sound who knows).

I really couldn't wait to wake up ths morning so I would be able to continue listening to VB.
