Good show tonight. Crowd was crazy. It got crushing at one point up front. She looked awesome in her red hippie dress. Mentioned tropico premeiring here. Don't know if she meant Chicago or not.

Ride. It has the best story of all her videos and the cinematography is awesome. I like the story and the vignettes with her lovers. The parts with the motorcycle gang is pretty good especially the bonfire scenes. Second is Video Games. The one that started it all and my second favorite song of hers.

Steve Malkmus Her and Indy rock go well together. Radiohead. I think she could revitalize them. Her working with ok computer radiohead would be awesome Drake. Because this girl I am in love with loves drake and hates Lana. This could be good omen.

I think you all are seeing way too much. She doesn't seem unusual in any interview to me. I mean she can just be tired or just not into the interview but I think guys are just over-reacting.

I don't see her as being bitter toward the US when you look at her actions. Her Tropico Movie set in Southern California is pretty much American as you can get. The Low Rider images, the strip mall strip club, and the setting is part of what sells in Europe. Ride was very American and Young and Beautiful was in a film that is one of America's Greatest Novels. She is playing Lalapalooza and the House of Blue. Lalapalooza is the biggest summer music festival in the US and she is a headliner. People have gotten beyond the Saturday Night Live performance and Americans love comebacks. Witness Britney Spears. We love comebacks and in the end the things that make her popular in Europe will work in the US. Lana will be a success in the US and given that Europe made David Hasselhoff a big pop star, no American artist wants to be the next David Hasselhoff. She will be a success in the US and I take umbrage at the idea that she is not a success in the US. There are lot of musicians and artists who would love to have the sales and attention Lana has gotten in the US.

I doubt she doesn't care about the US anymore. It's her home country and she isn't Gwyneth Paltrow. Given how she wraps herself in the American Flag and the American iconography of her photos and video shoots is why she sells well in Europe, she do a US tour soon. I suspect in support of her next album she'll do a US tour. Sure she may not sell out the Staples Center but she'll have a great tour in the US. I suspect she's building buzz and anticipation which is good.

I like the remix and I hope it's a success. Gee if you're a Lana fan you want her to have the most success. I don't get hoping this fails or whining for Cola. Cola as a single in the US is a tough sell. There would have to be an edited version since she isn't singing about eating her pet cat unless you can do something like Forget You. I have a feeling that the remix will be popular at clubs and at beach parties and at parties with professional DJs which is good. Maybe if enough Sorority Girls like this it will be more airplay.

This video will be awesome. I mean Ride was incredible. I hope Lana makes available for purchase all her videos in HD via itunes or blue ray dvd. Lana is awesome. I'd love her if she was as big as a house.

Lana is beautiful and has an awesome body. No straight man who can would turn her down. She looks pretty hot in the red bikini outfit.

I want her to release never let me go, every man gets his wish and so on. I want them in good quality and I want her to get royalties for those great songs. I'm not a huge fan of leaked songs even though I love Lana. It's that I want to buy her music and support her.

I'm happy with the schedule. Yes I would like to see NIN but they haven't had a good album since the mid 90s. Plus I got a ticket to see Lana so I'm happy. This means that we'll have an easier opportunity to see Lana up close.

I average at least 2-3 drinks per day. I quit drinking for about 8 years--meaning I'd drink only once a month or so but in 08 I started up the every day habit again. I quit drinking in 00 based on a doctor's advice, and I didn't really drink for about 2-3 years meaning no booze but from 03 to 08 I was an occasional drinker but since October 08 when my dad's health took a turn for the worse--he died in '10 I became an everyday drinker. I've started to drink more the last six months. I am doing fine though. 2-3 drinks per day and sometimes up to 10 when I want to get drunk is my new normal.

I love the song and the video. Those of you who don't like just need to find someone else to like. The song is beautiful, she's beautiful and the video with the orchestra and the cinematography is so awesome. What I really love about this video is that there no scenes from the movie. Just Lana the orchestra. I love the close-ups and the direction. Great video.

If you live in the Midwest or Ontario you should go. Just get there when the gates open and to the stage where Lana is playing and get as close as you can wait for her set to begin. Then go see other shows like New Order, the Killers or Nine Inch Nails. Hotels are expensive in Chicago but there's public transportation so you can stay in the burbs if you want. The El and Metra are excellent.

Check stubhub. Tix now will be expensive but they should go down a little bit in the next week or two after the excitment dies down. I was very luck. I got my Friday ticket about 40 minutes past 10 and then five minutes after I got my ticket they were sold out.

So is there interest in Lana fans getting together and gathering in Chicago for the show. Or at least meet at Lalapolloza at Grant Park. It could be fun.

I got my tickets today. Can't wait.

This has been a good thread to read. I've liked reading all the responses, but I still wish Lana lived in the USA though. Her music is so American it seems strange in a way that she would choose to live in London, but in living in England I suspect she realizes how American she is and her music continues to reflect America.
