Im sure the artists Lana worked with is just writting sessions (as nearly always), but keep on living on acid thinking that Rihanna or Marina will be on Lana's record. This is so funny, what a suddent outburst of unrealistic, corny dreams after all the "who had the single begore it leaked" mess.

Subversive is different to 'rebellious', in that you're trying to change and/or bring down the system from within. 'Subversive Road' isn't a phrase at all, but that doesn't mean someone wouldn't use it for a song title.

Ok I've said this before but ...
I am really hoping that if Lana does cover on this album it will be a David Bowie song. He is know for having lots of songs about Space (Starman/Space Oddity/Life on Mars?/Ashes To Ashes .. to name a few) and he was very popular in the seventies. It would go with the vibe of the album (from what we know) really well.
 
I would be so excited for Lana to do a cover of a Bowie song and put her twist on it. The snippet of Space Oddity in TLY who divine in my op.

I'm late to give my thoughts but I absolutely adore Love. I think it is one of her best songs ever. I kind of expected after Honeymoon that she steadily would continue to go down a path of more solemn slow and somber music, but the bïtch is back. This sonically sounds like a lovechild of BTD and UV music. I'm so excited for what very well may her best record ever now.
 
Also not sure if anyone has said this, but what if BØRNS is one of the collaborations? Not only would their voices sound heavenly together, but Lana posted a video on Instagram singing along to one of his songs and Chuck recently did a shoot with him. All the connections line up...

Lana and Marina together would bring out the worst in both. Lana would sounds comatose and Marina would sound like a dying goat. Who would write it? What would it be about? Their writing styles and aesthetics clash as well. Just because the fanbases overlap doesn't mean it's a good idea. Abel makes douchebag bedroom music, and it's not my dream track or anything but he meshes really well with Lana.

Misleading bc people think shes a sad girl and depressing when thats just the way her music ends up sounding. She already stated video games isn't a depressing song. It's actually a happy song. It's about honoring the beauty of a relationship. watching video games, having fun, only worth living if somebody's loving you. She likes pop and rap too, she's not just some odd vintage girl lmao. She's so misinterpreted and it took me years to realize that. I really wish I would've found her before 2011, but who has tbh.
 
And lucky bc I doubt she makes each album as a chronological story hooked to one another. Each album is just so good and complex that it seems like they'd be linked. I write a little, and I know that after once project, you really just have to forget ab your previous work and act like you've never written before. It's a new chapter.

Fans here tend to read into things a bit too much.
 
Look at the collab lists, people think because Lana played a song in her ipod one time 5 years ago that means shes going to collab with them on the new album.

Fair enough if you both think this, but you're going off one song. This song is such a Lana song too, like its exactly the type of song I would expect her to sing, its similar lyric wise to Art Deco for me.

A hundred replays later and I still love this song to pieces, especially the airy, breathy aerial chorus which now that I think of it reminds me of Shades Of Cool as well. That's already two UV songs this makes me think of, all my fears left are shattered a bit more everytime Lana says don't worry baby. Thank you Jesus that it's not a generic love song
