ok, ok i can't STOP listening to this! been on repeat for the whole day! i would kill for the longer version and it left me craving new music more than ever... also, it has some portishead vibes and would love LDR5 to sound like that tbh i wouldn't mind LDR5 being just a one long Stargirl song

btw did you know that after plath killed herself, her husband's lover assia wevill killed herself the same way as sylvia but plath didn't kill her kids and assia killed her and ted's daughter when she killed herself... i have a book about plath and her husband and i am so mad i have no time to finally read that! it seems to be fascinating story. that ted hughes (her husband) was destroying women i guess and funny thing is they were killing theirselves for/because of him while he lived like 68 years! ugh why do i romanticize such things...?

I thought about Pawn Shop Blues as divorce song 'cause she shings she pawned the earrings he gave to her, she could also pawn the wedding ring... idk "The Blackest Day" - i was thinking about it but unfortunately the rest of the lyrics are clearly about the love who got away - "I don't really wanna break up, we got it going on" for example

thank you all, i love how you all interpret songs!

this should be a full song, i am amazed... i thought it was going to be 50 secs of lana talking but this slayed. i have never loved interlude so much (maybe except drake's "summer is over" ) -
thank you! i forgot about "Drive By" i haven't listened to "Sirens" in a while i thought about "Fine China" as well but unfortunately we don't have a full version of this song

it's alright! and very interesting as well! i love how almost every Lana song can be seen in many ways :flutter:

i was always feeling like JUMP is about DYING in the exact moment just like HEAVY HITTER, i guess :) and hm... i think like "the stone mary in the garden" from fordham road is the stone mary on the graveyard and she tells Lana to "walk away" and start living her life, heal after the loss of her lover, but it's just how i interpret it
-
yeah i know but "kill kill" is about a DYING lover and i am looking for songs about DEAD lover but thank youuu
-
yesss, totally! i forgot about this song also, i've read somewhere that "every man gets his wish" may be about the lover who promised "everything" to the girl but died so now lana's singing "every man gets his wish, where is mine?" :crying2:
