And maybe Ur Girl is about him too, "I've been gone for 3 years, is that enough for you boy?" And Ur Girl was probably written in 2013, so...... 3 years after 2010

Remember when we were all talking about what we want as the aesthetic of the album? I think most of us wanted lots of daisies and purple, orange and yellow or something... Daisies is still probably true, and dont get me wrong, space is the best thing she could have done, but omg we still get b-b-b-blue, b-b-blue, blue blue blueee....... :') I think Fine China was beautiful but it was probably cut from UV cause it was TOO sad lmao Agreed with Angels Forever though :'( I honestly think it could have opened Ultraviolence better than Cruel World, because its like Ride, but with UV vibes. And then Cruel World after that would be like ARGHHH <3 <3

Yeah, Honeymoon was a big 'shelter' album for me, and still is. So i do hope there's at least like 2 songs on the new record that are straight from her heart like that haha

Global doesn't mean political though the only word she's used to describe it is 'global'. I think she wants to move away from 'escapist' bc she wants us to care about the world and NOT escape it! I dont think it will be super "IN YOUR FACE, BAM, POLITICS" anyway love was political, but you can take it any way you want! If you hate politics you'll still enjoy the album. Trust her xx

True true, but I think hating America isn't going to fix it. She obviously doesnt hate america bc of trump. she just wants better. I doubt she'll have glorifying lyrics about America in there anyway. She hasn't done it since BTD, and she said the new album is lyrically written different.

OMG i actually have to 100% agree with the DLMBM thing. It was just the way she sung it.... The instrumental was beautiful and enchanting, but I wish she sung a bit more like Old Money or something.

So we know the new album is going to be released in Fall (September-November) It is more hip-hop influenced, and she's playing around with vintage squeak toy noises The album is based in Cry Baby's Neighbourhood, but the title will NOT be the name of the Neighbourhood.... interesting... I wonder if it's gonna have a school theme.... That would totally get me like The Birthday Massacre's album Walking with Strangers (btw if you dont know this band and you like rock music as well you will love them, cause they have pretty electronic sounds like mel as well) I kinda really want a CAKE video, but she's already used cake in her pit party video. Cake is my favourite Melanie song and i have no clue why????

I agree with this so much. So many lana fans don't want anyone to judge her, yet they judge her about her interests in occult and believe they are 'above' all that. I'd love Lana to explore the dark side, not only because its my area , but because it's giving us the example of thinking for ourselves and not letting ourselves be pushed into a set of beliefs. I personally DO hope she has a witchcraft aesthetic somewhere, even satanic (although people are far more likely to give her hate for satanism since it is an even more misunderstood religion)
