Congratulations Lana on the winning! It's nice to see that Lana can still cause meltdowns just by showing up and accepting an award! At the end of the day, she wore a black dress! I think she chose the simple Chanel design so she could be more playful with her eye make-up.

Off Channel Orange my favorites are Pyramids and Forrest Gump. I also like the Lonny Breaux Collection (Private Show, Day Away...etc.) He's a great songwriter and can definitely set up an atmosphere with his lyricism

this is definitely my favorite shoot so far. the photographer was able to play with that sense of nostalgia that Lana uses but present a different aesthetic. to me it comes off as retro, but totally Japanese-style. the oversaturation of the colors to the palette to the flower accents to the cartoon eyes. I hope Japan eats this up because Lana is giving everything! Japanese movie star from a bygone era realness.

This was such a great season! I think the execution of the story and plot was better than Murder House! Any speculations for S3? That article said that the main baddie is going to be female.

I don't mind that she mentions her social work. She has talked about it before in her earlier interviews. A person really does need to have a passion to work with marginalized populations like the homeless and the addicts. They're not easy to work with due to the problems they have. It's not a glamorous job. People wonder what she did before her debut since she seemed to have appeared out of nowhere from the sea of the Internet last year. If that was her day job, I don't see why she wouldn't mention it. It could be a marketing tool, but I would like to think that the response was for those interested in her past and not her haters. I hope that her fans who look up to her will take some notes from her and give back to their community
