I think she's modeling as Lana Del Rey and not really trying to raise fashion to any higher levels, but just for her own art/brand as in this project overshadows everything that she's doing so she never really takes you to this insane fashion moment when she models since her over-all look is already inspired.

I will hate Lana until the end of time if she doesn't make more albums. Most of these pop girls would be great as commercial models and are, but it's a certain look and talent to be a high fashion editorial model. It requires the ability to be a canvas and a chameleon and a dedication to the fashion/modeling industry.

The outro to Serial Killer when the menacing bass comes to the focus as the dreambox music fades away reminds me of a thunderstorm rumbling in the distance. I know some of you aren't here for SK, but that's ok. The vocalise at the outro of Off to the Races has to be my #1 though! As if Lana hadn't already slayed my poor soul with the song, she had to finish off the remaining pieces. The way she so easily accesses her head voice and scats! !! !
