she put the most crack ever in Abracadabra holy shit its like I listen for the first time each day and then I cannot turn it off its so fucking good like its such a big win for her with it performing well so far this needs to be a huge hit and bring dark pop back en vogue the trance synth laced throughout and especially the run from the second chorus through to the end is incredible and builds beautifully like she really did her big one here im officially all in on the era she's 3/3 so far
-
just blared this all the way to and from the vape store driving real slow with all the windows down so the little children could hear and yeah... she's done it again the Eurodance vibes, the dark booming monstrous vocals and production during the drop instant gaga classic like holy shit I can picture myself dancing in my bathroom to this getting ready 10 years from now being like "DAMN this shit still slaps" LOVEEEE feel the beat under your feet, the floors oN fiREEEEEEEEE the bridge being incredible as well like what's not to love here ALSO love the low quality intro to the song its like the hotel snippet being played b4 the song starts in its full glory

I have so many emotions I watched basically the whole ceremony from the premiere till the end and once the actual ceremony started I had to get off socials cause my tv was like 5 minutes delayed but I really liked this ceremony! definitely better than last years it was very female centric with all the AOTY performances Charli did fucking incredible I was gagging at my screen so bad the entire time she really fucking did it what an incredible performance and showcasing of the album she really had her fucking moment!!!! I was rooting for her till the end but once they had all the firefighters presenting AOTY it was like yeah no... they aren't gonna give the British PARTYGIRL her flowers like that but honestly it should've been Diana Ross presenting B with that award tf? gaga ate DOWN im so sleepy I have to redigest abracadabra tomorrow morning

feeling delusionally confident brat is gonna take the big one tonight the stars have aligned... music too good... rollout too good... controversial enough to have stans rage but also would be the most inspired pick they've made in years... I felt the same way about OB last year tho and we know how that turned out either way the drama of it all is the best part of grammy night im really excited for Charlis performance I hope she brought her bombs

OH she's saying is a threat not a promise? like as a question I thought she fucked up the Azealia quote the vocals with the delay at the end he always brings out the best in her vocally cause she's never doing this shit on her own music and why?? its so good she has such a unique timbral quality to her voice and especially her higher register that is so unique and immediately identifiable as her I luv it -
it still gets a lil much and I have a good cry about her passing every now and then but damn 4 years it really has been that long huh... missing her everyday I finally started listening to Just Like We Never Said Goodbye again and damn is it so haunting

360 grammy performance where the It girl table is recreated in the audience and they do a lil skit before Charli gets up on the table and starts performing and waiters are bring chairs around to make a platform to transport her to the main stage like Detox's Read U Wrote U verse where she meets up w Billie and they perform Guess and then Grammy Apple dance where they just loop the snippet and celebs are chosen to do it followed by Apple MV the week after UP

my coworker has been playing Heartless while at work and where tf has this song been the last 5 years??? like id heard of it but I swear I must've just avoided it with the pandemic and everything idc if im 5 years late tho bitch I am LIVING now

room of fools is so there's more to life than this by Bjork with a lil ray of light I wish striptease opened with the production from the CK campaign like it makes sense that its different cause its been 2 years but still its a small thing to complain about in an otherwise great song but why not use both versions? instead of the complex beat coming in on the first drop idk if it was my decision I would've done that only one im not feeling is childlike things then its like keep it, hold it and wanderlust are mid and the rest are either good or great! I think I still like LP1 better ive been listening to it so much recently there's no other album that sounds like it to this day its crazy
-
hopefully the remix vinyl dropping tomorrow is just the remix portion containing spring breakers featuring Kesha and HOPEFULLY a hello goodbye remix im holding out hope idk if I should be sat for it or wait for the inevitable blood records pressing

Coachella weekend 1 meltdowns on here should’ve been at least a nom for iconic moment the vibes were fucking rancid in that thread lmao it was so bad truly thought she ended her career and was gonna be blasted by the media just for it to be lauded at best and forgotten about at worst like that was such a moment
-

like others have said I went into Mulholland Dr. completely blind having no prior exposure to his work in September of 2022 and it literally changed my life forever. dramatic af but I had never had a movie fully stop me in my tracks to that extent where I knew I had just seen something big and started making my way through his work it feel so expansive thinking about all the artists both visually and musically that have cited him as a direct source of inspiration or where its so obvious they're a fan cause you can just tell with Lynch fans who else has a descripitive term like Lynchian named after them!! this is all so unexpected when his team came out a few months ago and said he wasn't healthy but still doing good its hard to wrap my head around a loss like this but it's one the culture is definitely going to feel it I was holding out hope he had one final offering up his sleeve but honestly The Return is such an incredible and obvious endcap for his career in the way its so self-referential and ends off the epic that is Twin Peaks god im really gonna miss him being around

brat b-sides for brat spring then the Boiler Room brat megamix released for the year anniversary then a DJ centric second remix album featuring the skream and benga von dutch remix for brat fall 2025 and I would buy it all. deadass.

INFINITE ASSASSIN can't believe I didnt see this all day wtffffff was low-key praying she finished darq souls for this like she said she was thinking about to this day I cant believe she truly left the best song off MA knowingly like... 4ÆM, Darq Souls, and WAP on the same album would've ended careers but this is sounding great so far the beats are really good! also- Music4Machines into 100% Tragedy transitions really well if anyones arranging tracklists

I honestly have to respect how Ethel stans truly do the most in creating an off-putting aura towards her and her art I remember around preachers daughter release when @the ocean lied about Ethel wanting this thread taken down for the sole purpose of gatekeeping when the thread was basically just them and another member cirlce jerking about being in the exclusive Ethel discord and the lana comparisons discourse oooh what a time that was im listening rn Im on track 3 and its great so far! I feel like Im naked and damp sitting in the corner of a dingy ass trap house slipping and sliding on broken glass n shit wondering how I got here from my once seemingly perfect golden suburban upbringing . saw someone on twitter call it skinamarink vibes and thats so true adore that movie
