I agree massively on this point. As a forum, this kind of thing just makes for division among the members, and usually results in some type of superiority mindset being spread. If you happen to have a song we don't, that's fine; just don't go around telling people about it. This is very discouraging behaviour at any time, but especially in such a close community as this one. Disturbances affect everyone, and statuses related to 'trading' are great examples of this principle. Again...it's really distracting and just flat-out bothersome when all these people continuously request songs in the middle of otherwise informative threads. It's Okay to post a status or two about it (I hope only one would be necessary!), but actual forum comments are quite annoying.

We are just as unsure as you. We don't have Liam's version of "Lolita," and I doubt we have the sampler version of TIWMUG. But we have Parker's "Carmen" for sure, if that's any comfort.

I can imagine my conversation with Bernard: "What do you mean, only three hours? You pounded out 'Afraid' in just that much time? Where are you hiding mix 2? Was it based of an acapella she brought in? How did you two work--email, or live together in the studio? WHAT DO YOU MEAN, YOU CAN'T REMEMBER?!?!?" Yikes.

If they came, they'd all soon block me for my incessant questioning. But that said, I would adore hearing how Emile managed to butcher a song such as "Driving In Cars With Boys." I can't even imagine what it would sound like, but I'm sure it would destroy any respect I have left for it. >

Haha! No. I'm only just realizing what a let-down the BTD era has become to me, after I started listening to everything prior. Don't get me wrong, I love Lana, but listening to the majority of her new stuff is like hearing a lullaby compared to almost anything from before.
