Whenever Lana's voice is autotuned, I love it even more. Well, except for in 'Million Dollar Man' and 'American Dream.' >:C

Jeremih: Body Electric has changed my vision of music

Wow. -
Nice theory! But it's 100% real. Produced and confimed by Aaron LaCrate himself.

Can we be a little bit more enforcing of NSFW laws, please? In particular, one signature/avatar set is quite bothersome.

Polartropic (You Don't Understand Me) in my pants.

Of course we all listen to alot of music. But there are always those songs that stand out from the rest, and that we (or at least I) listen to again and again over long periods of time. Mine include... 'Valentine' by Charli XCX 'Fineshrine' by Purity Ring 'Maps' by Yeah Yeah Yeahs 'Great Mistake' by Sky Ferreira 'Ghetto Baby' by Lana 'Animal' by Miike Snow What are some of your favorites that have withstood the test of time?

Same here! I was really hoping for a B-Sides album to Ceremonials, with the other 6 or so songs she did for it, but no such luck.

DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!!

This is one if the weirdest of Lana's "experiment" songs I've ever heard. Her vocals are so tender, but I can't understand but a word every line.
-
Do they forget it's an OLD song? Like, really old. Like, she would never release it. Like, that's an absurd notion and they don't deserve her.

This quote we'll explains my recent life. I spend hours every week trying to track down both '14' and all the other songs she has done, with very little luck. It's like Lana, but Charli was even younger when she got started. But hey, the Mixtape and eventual album are gonna he great! She's like the Sky that never was.

Which Lana songs do you prefer the demos/alt versions of?
Madrigal replied to Mileena 's topic in Lana Thoughts
Lana takes a lot of time when she decides to write her bridges. This demo, "Lift Your Eyes," and the original demo of "Dark Paradise" all appear to be recorded BEFORE she wrote the respective bridges for the songs. -
Something emotional. I haven't gotten strong emotional vibes from a Lana song since...wait. I never have.
-
It's such an authentic piece. Her delivery is effortless, and the lyrics transcend 90% of all her other songs.

I want to hear any and all other songs Emile did for the album, so I can finally realize what they would sound like. For example, I've been trying to reconcile mentally "Driving In Cars With Boys" to the Born-to-Die production style, and it ISN'T. WORKING.

What are their 5 best songs? Their free song on iTunes, "Fineshrine," was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!, but I couldn't get into anything else when I tried.

NO MORE FUN AND GAMES, KIDS. THESE ARE THE REAL TITLES, FIVEVER AND EVER.
-
That's the first song I phell in love with. :3 It's tied with "Lucky Ones" for my favorite.
-
If she still does, I don't think she takes them in the same way as she did during her Lizzy days.
-
YES, someone does.

Sitar, literally every time I listen to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs I think of you. I can't help it! Yeah Yeah Yeahs - "Soft Shock."

I LOVE LANA'S AWFULL PUNS. I mean, "Back to tha Basics?" "C U L8R ALLIGATOR?" "Born 2 Die?" She's the bestest.
