Well as long as they don't get the Paradise edition and keep skipping Lolita I don't see a problem with it But you know how these 40+ are, they are all about the image, not the content #shallow

My best days has autotune in it!? I never noticed....

Big Christmas sales. I heard many Christian families gifted this to one another, as Jesus died for their sins, he was "Born To Die" (for our sins) and all that

After the hype wore off, I think the R. Kelly version is better, but nothing beats the solo version tbh

Oh good, I'm not the only one who thinks that That and On The Floor are such bops

Oldest Lana/Lizzy song (Not including SIRENS)
Creyk replied to cartoon eyes's topic in Lana Thoughts
Oh god, what a thread One of us really should just sit down with her, take out a pen and paper and just write a chronology tbh.... (and if we're at it, she should just spill the tea about K too ) -
"Video Games" Heavily Sampled in French Montana's New Track.
Creyk replied to howiet1971's topic in Latest News
I hope this will be big on rhythmic radios just so people get to hear those flawless vocals of the queen tbh -
She has a better voice than that and we all know it

Oh also I'm super happy that, it seems, through the Paradise tour her performing abilities improved tremendously. Like, if you look at some of her older performances and the Paradise tour ones, you can really hear the difference, she grew so much as a singer.

The whole The Great Gatsby thing. Getting the song snippets with the trailers, and then the song, and then that flawless music video...it was just handled so well. Oh and also I LOOVE how well she did with that SS remix in the US. Everybody knows her name now.

Basically, this :agree: :agree2:

Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread
Creyk replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Retired Pre-Release Threads
I don't think she will. Unless her label forces her for more exposure to push her further, but I don't know how much they meddle with Lana's business tbh, they seem to let her be most of the time.... Anyway, other than Azelia and Asap Rocky, she really doesn't seem to like any current singer so I don't think she would be up for it. It was confirmed that she and Barrie recorded several songs, collabs just like Summer Wine. But I don't think she will put those in there, as they are covers. Maybe just one, like with Paradise came Blue Velvet. I wouldn't mind actually. Their voices go well together. -
Heheh, you're right She is even the more successful one. If we look at her songs, among her released material, BTD and Paradise, that theme is wanting to be dominated is not emphasized as in her unreleased material. That aspect comes up the strongest in You Can Be The Boss, and even that is an old song. Maybe as she grew older she changed and now other things are important to her, I guess more artsy stuff. There was that interview where she criticized the music industry and said that most people are not focused enough on their artistry, or something like that...AFFA is about this too partially, with these lines: "We are heavy metal lions They will never understand The kind of people you or I am. Bow your heads and take your hands."

But hun if you've been in love before you get how those lyrics are totally true when you become that attached to the other person

Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread
Creyk replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Retired Pre-Release Threads
I'm sure there will be upbeat tracks. There always are, they are needed for the structure of the album. Plus, Ultraviolence sounds less serious than "Born to Die", and even that had it's upbeat material.
