AKA has some beautiful instrumental. Reminds me of the sea & ocean (the man I love, jump, gramma, oh say you can see, put me in a movie, kill kill, for K).

I adore 50% of songs in honeymoon but the others are too monotonous for me (God Knows I tried, Honeymoon, 24). C'mon how can you place it above Born to Die (Blue Jeans, Off to the Races, Video Games, Dark Paradise) the production is iconic!

Wow.. nobody hates Lana. We all adore her thats why we are here. They are just discussing the soundscapes & lyrical content they prefer & how they wish LDR5 to sound like since it will be her next release after Honeymoon & she keeps growing as an artist .. so everybodys just curious about where she takes it from 'here'.. no negativity here.. just admiration & love & honest 'personal opinions'.

Maybe it's YOU, sir, with all due respect, who is a little judgemental & negative.. today.

Now, since, she has bought a house near the sea.. I wonder if it will have that kind of beach vibe.. since the pics we have seen have a 'surf blue' tint

Well, we are a discussion forum and we can say when we dislike something.

I srsly hope she would have a return to form in terms of songwriting like on BTD which was miles better and more inspired and filled with life than on HM. I also really hope she is still capable of making choruses that she is nailing and where just doesn't repeat the title over and over. And yes, i still hope she has a bridge in her like on Blue Jeans.

I hope for better writing and a lil bit more excited delivery and overall more drive. She is in her early 30's, not in her 60's.

The most commercial doesn't mean it's worse than HM, because it isn't.

Ppl on here really need to stop bashing BTD for no reason. First of all, without it none of you would be here and secondly, it doesn't send you in a coma like HM did. BTD is a classic and rightfully so. HM is just there for the sake of just being out.

From a collectors point of view I'd love a deluxe album for this coming era - maybe with a different album cover from the Standard Edition just to make it extra special. But I really hate itunes and regional exclusives so I hope we won't have that kinda situation again. If she were to do a cover aswell I hope she adds it on the Deluxe and not the Standard Edition.

Along with YAIL M.V I'm also really excited to see the Music Teaser Trailer for LDR5. There always to beautiful and mesmerizing especially U.V one

It took 4 years to complete Stadium Arcadium (which had 28 tracks). Lana takes about 1 year to complete a single album with not less than 14 tracks in each album. She gave us 3 albums between 2012 to 2015 (excluding Paradise EP). You do the math.

Well I must admit, I've never listened to a full album by them (I only know some of the singles), but according to Wikipedia, Stadium Arcadium was commercially very successful as well as praised by critics and they won five Grammys for it, so I guess it is possible to have quality and quantity.

But yeah, this album is definitely an exception. So like I said, for LDR5, I'm not expecting more 12 songs on the standard edition (maybe only 11 if they're relatively long, like on Ultraviolence), so I'm praying for some bonus tracks.

Not necessarily. She may have not had a choice. Her contract may have limited her and not allowed her to add any more. I should also say that there is a requirement to how many goes on it, like a minimum. However, it doesn't seem like Lana has ever struggled to meet that requirement haha

I can only imagine their being bonus tracks if the record label calls for more. Wasn't it said that the UV bonus tracks were added per Interscope's request? If they're invested in this album, it wouldn't be surprised if we had a few.

I know this sounds silly but I hope this era has a plant as a symbol for its music. BTD had the rose, Paradise the Palm Tree, UV the hydrangea and HM... well, nothing

Wow I have a music and design workshop and I had to do a presentation on pop music design and my teacher immediately said Lana was "morbidly depressive" before I even started. Like it can be seen as true but did I ask?? There was 36 covers why'd she pick her out I don't even wear my sweater It's 2017, why do people still think this of Lana, she's either catalogued as sugary vintage bohème or straight ass slow and depressive, literally one of the reasons I love her music that much is because of the variety of styles, ok it's a dominant trait in her released albums to not be particularly fast music but it's so cliché and boring. I want LD5 to be more pop or at least have electronic / boppy vibes  because I'm tired as hell of people having a negative opinion of her because they only see the aspects of her music that's visible on most cliché released songs, I want Lana to show them she's so much more than that, even though she doesn't have to justify herself. She's said so many times in interviews how much she cares about the critics opinions and how much it affects them, to the point of wanting to look as normal as possible. Well I want her to be herself and maybe it's being slow and depressive, yes, it might be, but I want her to be unapologetic about that and use it against people that condemn her, and I think LDR5 might be about, I think it started with Honeymoon, this idea of very lowkey empowering, like "I'm submissive but it's because I chose it because I love it and I'm taking control back over my fame". I think she's changing as well; her clothing style is changing, she's much more political, she's taking much more time to get this album out; I think it's just the machinery that got in place perhaps after the Born To Die backlash and kept on with Ultraviolence that's starting to be visible.

It's not to Lana to apologize to the critics, she doesn't has to apologize to anyone and if her music is like this then so be it, as long as she's happy to make it, I'm fine with anything, and even if one day I don't relate to her or appreciate her musically, I just hope that she'll continue being happy and do what is true to her above everything else because it's one of the biggest lessons she taught me

The horror description is interesting to me. Not a descriptor I expected to see. When I see that, I immediately think of the production of Gods & Monsters and Body Electric (and the opening strings in Honeymoon; kind of). I wish we had more to discuss, but at the same time, I love being in the dark. The anticipation is the best part tbh

True.. everyone is trying to give their level best in whatever they do & what they believe in. Its just that the source of inspiration is different for everybody.

Beyoncé has a team of songwriters to who help her put her vision into action. All the songs in Lemonade were written by other people, with her guidance. The lead single 'hold up' itself had 15 writers! She just had a co-write credit because she is the boss & representative.

There are musicians who write each and every word on their project & are so honest & spectacular. Still they don't get enough credit since they're not 'pop' enough.
I have deep respect for musicians who write each & every word on their album 'without' co-writes, including Lana.
