If I can “defend” Lana from some of the criticism... This was filmed a year ago, and I don’t think she had any idea at all how praised the album would be at the time. Maybe she just wanted to film something cute and simple and asked her friends if they wanted to be in the videos with her. And since this was filmed a year ago, I don’t know if we can criticize her for throwing food at cops (except that it’s such a waste of edible food) because she’s dating one now. They hadn’t met yet, but I’m glad she didn’t delete the scene just because she’s with a cop now. But yeah, I still don’t know what to think of the music video.

I completely agree, I never expect much from her music videos anymore. Doin’ Time was quite entertaining though, maybe because it actually had a story to tell.

WaitwaitwaitWAIT. Wait. Is there a story? Why the Disney animals animations, to add a touch of innocence and playfulness? What’s up with the explosions and airplanes, I get that they might tell a story of chaos in the background of the life she’s living but then they just disappear by the third song? I thought the war theme would continue and become worse! Is this just a mashup of random footage of the girls having fun? Is Lana dreaming of an alternative life with girlfriends who are there to support her, and we get to see that dream of hers in the sunglasses? Or was that just a cool transition? I kinda felt like it almost had a story in the two first songs and then it just went downhill by the last one, so I really don’t know. Bartender was the best part, I was not expecting that. Explosions and war planes in the background while tossing food at two cops(?). (I feel bad for ruining good food though lol) NFR was a cute introduction and I hadn’t expected more of it based on what we had already seen. Happiness... I’m not sure. I was hoping for something else or something more. But it was a cute video and I think I’ll watch it again sometime.

@ I agree with you (because I’ve also looked up how much it would cost to print a book) but I think the difference here is that Lana binds the books by hand instead of letting a printing company put all the pages together. And that takes time.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out she’s recorded everything on her phone lol.

I doubt it, haha. I think it has been recorded some time ago but they’re keeping it stored for whatever reason. It’s just a feeling I have.

All I know is that BLINKs paid for a billboard ad right outside YG Entertainment’s headquarter building, demanding them to give more activities to the girls. YG probably listened and knows that the fans are hungry af and will be back with something later. They also promised a solo song for Rosé this year so I wouldn’t hope too much for a new album too soon... maybe later in 2020?
