just listened to SU again...it's ok...but not memorable + im glad none of the tracks (bar CA) ended up on TR.... heartbreaks and earthquakes is way way better (her best work imo)

same here! Youth Novels is ok, i like the lyrics but the production is too "quirky" and her voice too childish imo. INL is so dark but the only problem i have with it is that i can only really listen if im really depressed lol. Wounded Rhymes is a perfect blend of the two

i want her to DITCH the themes of before ("im in love with a bad guy" / "love sucks" / "i got hurt but i love you still") and give us some NEW themes. even if you disregard her unreleased stuff, the themes of her released material (BTD, P & UV) is sadly not very diverse thematically. there are moments where she diverges from this (NA, Radio, FMWUTTT, MPG, FK), but i want her to completely leave the themes of previous behind, or at least write about them in a new way. that's why i love WC so much - she touches on similar stuff as before, but in a new way; the "Queen of Saigon" reference is still there, for example, but she sings about it differently.

GORGEOUS SIMPLY GORGEOUS VIDEO! really captures the dreamy feel of the album + it was so visually stunning yet simple at the same time...they're coming for Lana's music-video-as-films crown.

recently I've been sorta getting into it but ugh the production is so backwards!

tbh I don't feel like many of the tracks could do that well on the radio, they're wayyyyyy too dark + heavy imo. Gunshot probably had the most potential because it's the most pop-esque and its lyrics aren't as tragic as stuff like NRFTW or SA. i love Lykke so much and it pisses me off that next-to-no-one knows of her. that being said, i'd hate for her to compromise lyricism in order to gain success (NOEL & SIAB give me so many shivers).
