it's got more attitude than most pop songs + I feel that almost every track is a fuck you to someone/something. it's not exactly a punk album, but it is evidently neither just a pop album. it's a modernised version of the punk genre imo

i really like the continuity of the covers...like In Your Prime seems to be afternoon, Open Season / Une Autre Saison is the sun setting, Till I Found You is that moment when the sun's set but it's not completely dark yet and Every Night is, as the title suggests, night-time. gorgeous

just watched the Alan Carr performance...actually better than the studio version imo. also ive come to accept that Sucker really is a good pop-punk record. its a lot more accessible than TR-era Charli and though its lyrically not as strong, i do like the 80s/90s production of the tracks. H&E > Sucker = TR > SU

bc its about the guy telling her "you're pretty when you cry". PWIC is kinda lame as a title imo, PWYC is darker cause it suggests that he is manipulating her + emotionally abusing her. thats not a good thing, but it hold more significance than PWIC

there's only 1 version of Elvis and only 1 version of Break My Fall. Break My Fall is sometimes referred to as the 'demo' version because the song was given to Diana Vickers (although i think it was left off the album), so her's in the "final" and Lana's is the "demo". yeah there's two C&R, there's only a few differences but they're worth having. if you check the request thread, someone will probably be able to send you both versions
