Hi! I've been lurking for months. I wish she wasn't such a perfectionist, and I hope there's people around her keeping her away from getting-too-inside-of-her-head. I miss her voice. Sad Dream is still one of my favorite songs ever.

Personally, I feel like Lana during the earliest moments of her career was super glamourous. She had a team of stylists by her side, I suppose, but I think that she looked gorgeous nevertheless and feel like the glamour was there, and that some people might move towards that time because of it? Maybe I'm being too naïve. Lana is beautiful no matter what, that's obvious, and if we're here I guess we all think that? She was gorgeous when she was skinny and she's beautiful now, too. But I do feel like some people romanticize how depressed she was.

Personally, I felt nostalgic because it was my first time being part of Lanaboards! It felt amazing <3. I don't really like NFR that much, but I enjoyed being here and made the waiting less difficult because there was a place I could actually talk about her because of course I couldn't go and melt my friends' brains talking about Lana's upcoming album for like a full year. But yeah, BTD and Paradise were amazing and I'm actually a little bored now, but I can wait. It gets tiring, but idk! The interview made me feel like something great is coming.

I understand your point! It could be due to growing up. I think my favorite era was BTD/Paradise, and I was also super young (13!), but you're making me rethink that! I joined LB in 2017 but I decided to participate in it during the NFR Pre-release era and I had so much fun! I wasn't commenting a lot but I was always on the site and I used to laugh so hard reading everyone and I enjoyed the wait so much. It was super frustrating while it was happening, but looking back, it was amazing! Everything felt different than now. I wish I had been a part of the COCC and BB pre-release threads lol.

Just the other day I was looking up courses on Lana Del Rey lol. Happy this happened, I don't know why it wasn't a thing before.

So sorry for your experience! I hate that it doesn't have a third person perspective, but thankfully I've been playing it on the computer so I installed a mod that enables a third person camera. Otherwise, I wouldn't have played it. I feel like the first person perspective is wrong, as if the character was super short or kneeling down.

I just started it but I've seen my boyfriend play it a lot since it came out. I think that visually it's the most beautiful game ever, really. The art direction completely sold it to me

I guess someday I'll do a blog entry here about what happens to me with Lana, maybe just to put it in words - to do an exercise on my love for her, on the ways I see her, on the fact that I would never dare to let go of her music. I just want to say, and thanks to Honeymoon's anniversary today, that I'm super sensitive. She really did change my life in every way. Her music shaped my teenage years and keeps guiding me throughout adulthood. I love her music so much, I love her words and how she plays with them. I just hope I can get to be just a tiny bit as fierce and smart and playful as she is.

Happy birthday, Honeymoon. You're my favorite album ever and I love you so much. It's still super fresh and it's completely ingrained in my mind forever.
