  1. things take twice as much time to be done this era and they are half as likely to ever see the light of the day
  2. at least we can derive from that that she is the one who decides what to do, the label isn't forcing her to release it or not to release it, so whenever she'll want it out the process of physical production will be launched
  3. okay girlies obviously nothing's happening for the next few months so we should get ready for MAC's first birthday party. alongside with which snippet do you think you are going to play it?
  4. and not even a release date to come either. I’d be extremely surprised if anything was coming before the early month of mid-May
  5. This pre-release is honestly way too much for me to take. We’ve had her inexistant way of putting things out for seven months - if not a year. Let alone the unprofessionalism and disrespect coming from her team. It’s been almost two months since the Feb 22 mess, ohh time flies and still NOTHING. We don’t even know if the info we got in September still can be trusted. Now this is too much. I wouldn’t feel even slightly bad if it leaked. With this era she really did what I didn’t think she could, or would. Actually the LFL era wasn’t that messy. It had a coherent organization, lots of interviews, a lot of.... implication from hers I would say. By the way don’t forget to boycott NFR when it’s out xx
  6. no, people don’t care about stuff like that, she’s not being offensive to any minority or oppressed category in this song. It’s not “he hit me and it felt like a kiss” level
  7. we need leaks. Not leaks of what's to be released but older songs. We NEED some. Why are leakers always keeping songs in the driest periods? we know (because they seem to take pleasure showing us) they have Wild One, The Good Life, even demos... they really are the worst persons on Earth
  8. then what, should people not care about her attending a notoriously homophobic church? because that’s a fact and there probably are reasons why she’s going there. And she can’t not be aware. how “funny” it would be if those were not important subjects that she’s acting that way right after trying to be woke and “socially aware” in 2017... and that’s paradoxically in the continuation of the LFL era (which we knew so much more about than the unfathomable NFR one by the way)
  9. it’s not that easy, because it’s not really a choice. Regardless whether we actually make choices ourselves or not, it depends on each individual’s interest, mental strength etc. People know it’s harmful on the long run but still do it anyways, because it’s hard to think about the long run and your future appreciation of the songs when it’s been SEVEN months since MAC was released. What I mean is that it’s extremely easy to indulge in the temptation of playing it “only one more time” over and over, and people can’t be blamed for doing that. she is the one to blame
  10. the “we’re flying to New Orleans!!!!!!!” one that video was the most annoying thing I’ve ever got to see
  11. I just remembered that time when she alluded to a Middle East tour for March 2019 last year
  12. I need to breathe the article says "she's preparing to release her new studio album NFR later this year" bitch in what world is she PREPARING to do anything she hasn't done anything even slightly related to the album in three fucking months edit: and I had not even seen the "busy schedule" allusion
  13. The snippet is fine, but am I the only one really not liking her voice on it? It's that voice that she's been having on some songs since Lust for Life (notably Hope, Change and White Mustang), where she just sounds like she's mumbling, doing the bare minimum, taking a broken voice on purpose, even when she goes higher it's not clear as it used to be. I don't hear any emotion but laziness on it, whereas on IYC or Cinnamon her voice is way better
  14. Not everyone can separate the person and their art, and I don't even think it's a good idea, but that's just me as well. Of course nobody is stopping listening to her music but it's just puzzling, like the whole baddie thing. It would actually be worrying if nobody cared that she's attending a homophobic church also I can NOT stand that girl next to her. She's literally been everywhere around her lately. Plus she sounds so shallow damn I don't want to be mean but I feel like those girls are like... harmful to the brain
  15. i’m not so sure. She ignored questions about LIB or other thorny questions a million times, she refused to answer when asked about alcohol or drugs, she said “oh fuck” when asked about Architecture and more broadly she’s just always ignoring questions about her upcoming record (at buku she so obviously ignored the requests for Cinnamon for instance)
  16. I feel the same but I think we need to tell ourselves that it’s Lana herself who’s keeping NFR away from us if anyone (tHe LaBeL hOwEvEr MiGhT pLaY a CeRtAiN rOLe As WeLL) and the poetry book is no excuse
  17. speaking of wild stuff are you guys sure honeymouns has Wild One? I didn’t know anyone had it but I’ve been craving for that song since 2015
  18. One of the things that I’m also annoyed about is the fact that she probably never would’ve spoken of Yosemite or Architecture not making the cut if the interviewer hadn’t gone beyond the usual limits of what she’s asked and what she answers to.
  19. that ten-second live snippet didn't sound like her best song though just saying
  20. Wow just thinking about the hype there used to be around her back in 2014 now everything's gone awry. the looks, the visuals, the aura, the relationship with the fans... yes the music is good but WHICH music? we've been waiting for it forever, plus her best songs are from 2011-2014 and they remain unbothered
  21. to her end of summer is more like September remember that MAC and VB were "end of summer jams" edit: oops sorry someone just said that
  22. I mean what she says can never apply to more than 10% of the record, and even for those 10%... the jazzy influences are quite slight on those HM tracks, it never gets into real jazz, UV isn't unlistenable in any way, LFL's acoustic is... tragic at best... It's just tiring that what she says can never be trusted and much of it is deceptive if anything As to NFR i would be extremely disappointed if things like the end of MAC were what she called 'surf rock'. I need to expect to be though
