Just thought I'd share the tracklist I made that includes all 14 tracks of both Violet and NFR! I kept NFR's original tracklist in order as I felt it flowed better with each poem as an interlude between each song. Each poem I feel at least generally matches a song on NFR all based on mood and tone, if not perfectly. Each poem prefaces its sister song. Hope you enjoy if you use! <3 1. I think so too since both of them are about Joe and deal with her contemplations of her emotions affecting her relationship. I love her brilliant mind and ability to put words down so beautifully

I think the most obvious parallels between NFR and Violet are as follows: SportCruiser and Mariners Apartment Complex Past the Bushes Cypress Thriving and How to Disappear Never to Heaven and Cinnamon Girl Paradise Is Very Fragile and The Greatest Bare Feet on Linoleum and Hope is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me to Have - But I Have it More of a reach, but I also think we could match Quiet Waiter-Blue Forever with Love Song and more closely to Bartender for the romantic moods (thanks @@GeminiLanaFan for this <3) and of course the vehicle themes. and The Land of 1000 Fires and Venice Bitch for their textured, layered, and rawer presentation and self-actualizing narratives juxtaposed with love. Maybe Happy and Happiness is a Butterfly for obvious reasons - potentially Lana was exploring the way she both lets happiness alight upon her and chases it, respectively. I love this project so much. <3

Mine says it's available for purchase without pre-order already, just that it's processing. I emailed them though, and I think we should all do the same, as it's a case by case thing I think. Just a quick question about the release times - since it’s already out in New Zealand I’m assuming for North Americans it’ll be out Midnight EST / 9 pm PST? Like an album release?

That tweet about her looking "racist" with these pictures embedded is really hurtful. The toxic culture of twitter is damaging and at some point, it is going to catch up - especially because consequences aren't necessarily immediate for people who band with whatever prominent hateful rhetoric the culture is spewing. I hope Lana is able to see past all of these rude and uncalled-for comments.

She revealed the NFR album cover and tracklist the day before it was made for pre-order - she also announced that Violet would be available for pre-order a day before. I think it's highly plausible that she'll post the COTCC album cover and tracklist on August 4, then - only 12 days!

In the source code of her webstore, the date 05/08/2020 shows up as a starting date for some action, which I'm thinking is the pre-order, set for August 5, 2020. I know some of you may be thinking that 05/08/2020 could be May 8, 2020, but I also found the date 2020.07.13 in her source code, which would be year, month, date. Reverse that, and you have date, month year. Date: 5 Month: 8 Year: 2020 And this would be roughly a month before the release date. I know we've been speculating this already but I hope this offers some concrete evidence! I don’t think the video was old personally because she was blonde in it with lash extensions and nails that match ones that she currently has but I think you’re right about WHF being reworked! I hope there is a video for it too!!

I think it couldn’t have been about him at the very earliest though, because she wrote it and talked about it before they even met. But she could’ve reworked it multiple times afterwards so that at one point it was about him in a loving way and then at another point it wasn’t!

I don't think the song WHF is about Sean. She announced the title on August 30, 2019 so she already had the title track written and likely recorded at that point. She met Sean in late September 2019 in New York, so it can't be about him unless she heavily reworked it and/or merged it with Tulsa Jesus Freak.

This is a HYPOTHETICAL tracklist I just thought of - it is not real and I am not claiming it to be lol. But so far I am envisioning something like this maybe? the lack of continuity between sentence case and title case are deliberate to emulate Lana. I’m also wondering if her posting Joan Baez’s paintings means they collaborated for a song on this record, especially since she and Lana performed together in San Fran. Obviously Lana has been a huge fan of Joan for a while and Joan must return that admiration based on what she said about Lana at that show and the fact that she painted her! I would love for a collab between the two on this record.
