  1. My top 10 (in no particular order): 1. Venice Bitch 2. Heroin 3. Honeymoon 4. West Coast 5. Video Games 6. Terrence Loves You 7. Black Beauty 8. The Blackest Day 9. Pretty When You Cry 10. Wild On You (Colour Blue)
  2. That’s true. Would the album have to be released on a Friday? I know that’s standard nowadays but if I remember correctly, Ultraviolence was released on a Tuesday in the US.
  3. I wonder if they’ll release the record this Friday, the 23rd, then? It absolutely sucks that the record leaked and to make it worse it was 2 weeks early. Is there any news from someone who’s reached out to Ben and Ed about the potential early release?
  4. I think Venice Bitch could have been at least written in February 2018 because she posted that mural of her at Venice Beach in February 2018 and quickly changed the caption from “Haunting Venice” to “Venice Bitch.” I also wonder if California was one of the songs she worked on while she was in that side band with the guys from The Last Shadow Puppets (as co-writer Zach Dawes is close with Miles Kane/in the same band) which Lana said lasted December 2016 - March 2017 in the LFL interview with Zane Lowe.
  5. AKA is on Slacker Radio. When you buy a Tesla it comes with Slacker Radio music streaming service and AKA is available under "Lana Del Ray." I was surprised when I saw it! https://www.slacker.com/album/lana-del-ray/lana-del-ray
  6. I feel like this could be a realistic setlist for the upcoming tour: West Coast - Dan Heath Orchestral Mix (Intro) 1. Born to Die 2. Cherry 3. Pretty When You Cry 4. Blue Jeans 5. Mariners Apartment Complex 6. Norman Fucking Rockwell 7. Change/Black Beauty/Young and Beautiful 8. Ride 9. The Greatest 10. Fuck It, I Love You 11. Doin' Time 12. Video Games 13. Cinnamon Girl 14. Summertime Sadness (shortened) 15. Off to the Races (shortened) 16. Venice Bitch
  7. No, that’s not what I meant. There was an interview with someone who worked on the film and they rejected the tracks because they wanted score only from this vintage LA radio station for authenticity
  8. I wonder if California and Bartender were submitted for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. They’re the only tracks Jack didn’t work on (according to the credits) minus The Next Best American Record (but we know that one had been on Lana’s mind for a while). 24 on Honeymoon is speculated to have gotten the same treatment in regards to the James Bond film. Based on the titles of these two I could see them fitting the campy LA feel of the film. I guess we’ll see when the record comes out and if more information is revealed about the songs!
  9. I LOVE THE COVER SO MUCH. Everyone's notes about the MAC lyric, combined with the themes present in the title track represented by Duke, Lana's baddie outfit, the California wildfires, and the painted sky truly shed light on the record's potential narrative, evocations, and irony.
  10. Change, Coachella, Summer Bummer, and In My Feelings Cherry and White Mustang were also additions to the album after February/March 2017
  11. Where did the title "Jack I Love These Chords' come from? From Shazam when it listens to the snippet fans were referring to as 'In Your Car'
  12. I wonder if Jack reworked Yosemite and Roses Bloom For You. The chances are unlikely, but Lana teased it in December 2017 after LFL was released and that post is still on her Instagram. If the record still has 13 tracks, those are the only two she hasn't acknowledged since she announced the name of the album. I wonder if that's on purpose, so we're surprised when we see the tracklist. I've included a hypothetical tracklist that I think could flow really nicely based on themes and sonics
  13. The flower/plant for NFR, at least to me, is Monterey Cypress. She references it in her poem, Past the Bushes Cypress Thriving, and visually, it sounds like MAC and VB. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1008/4432/products/Monterey_Cypress_2.jpg?v=1543343698 This picture embodies the record for me ^

Driving in Cars With Boys vs. Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight
  16. Lana is at a point in her career where she is free to embark on artistic endeavours she chooses to and I am happy to be a part of that. Love the new music & visuals she has been putting out recently! Can't wait for the record to drop too.
  17. Venice Bitch - The beauty of speeding traffic lights, buildings, trees, street-lamps, and people (especially when on a train or bus) contains nostalgia that is captured so well with that song. One of my favourites. A Lana song to listen to during sunset?
  18. She's giving me some Rita Hayworth vibes in this video!
  19. 2 things: 1. Maybe she recorded a cover of Doin' Time for the album and it happened to be that Sublime had a documentary coming out too - this could explain why it's being sent to radio - it doubles as a single for the album + the documentary which equals great press. People and news sites have been reporting every little move of Lana's because her silence/spacing of album moves is just her thing at this point, but it does build momentum for people who aren't as invested as stans; casual fans + press are ready for the album. 2. In the IG snippet, she looks done up - I wonder if the blue wall she's in front of is actually a studio for album cover/album promo shoots? Could explain why she dyed her hair auburn recently - new look for new era visuals!
  20. On Our Way You and Me Hollywood Wild On You / Colour Blue Best American Record

  22. I think all of Lana's album covers are beautiful and she knows her music best so I always trust her vision for visuals - and I cannot wait to see what the album cover is! I think the promotional image that is rumoured to be the cover is gorgeous.
