  1. I don't think so, I can't recall any pictures of her that match that!

  4. I know, I was agreeing with them. I was just stating that the album wasn't finished when she was dating G-Eazy. Oh that's cool! Thanks for telling me! That's a good idea, but does the recording dates also involve writing? Also, how do we merge threads?
  5. She looks so good! I could see maybe the new EP or even LDR6 having a more in-depth Shangri-La, Bridgitte Bardot, 60’s biker aesthetic; she looks straight out of a 60’s music video! The Nancy Sinatra vibes with the high boots are there too! Love her!
  6. Actually they were! They were dating while he was working on The Beautiful and Damned, which was released in December 2017. Lana and G dated from mid April to mid May :-)
  7. I think BAR is about both Barrie (the verses) and herself (the chorus) but White Mustang could be both Barrie and G-Eazy. WM was written after she dated G-Eazy and it seems to fit both Barrie and G-Eazy’s relationships with Lana. Lana is also known to write about multiple relationships in a song!
  8. I would make an album of 2010 songs, called “Blonde Bops”. 1. Hit and Run 2. Dangerous Girl 3. Backfire 4. Prom Song (Gone Wrong) 5. Marilyn Monroe (Puppy Love) 6. Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight 7. Be My Daddy 8. You Can Be the Boss 9. Is It Wrong 10. Children of the Bad Revolution 11. Tired of Singing the Blues
  9. She really is spoiling us with this tour! From the amazing setlist, to the trendy but still Lana-esque outfits (that give major Ultraviolence vibes with the leather skirts! One of Lana's best aesthetics!), and the surprise a cappellas of fan favourites, NOT TO MENTION, the beautiful stage design and dancers, we truly are blessed to stan such an iconic and talented, kind person with a beautiful soul.
  10. Here’s a tracklist I think I’d really love: 1. Disco 2. Elvis 3. Wild One 4. LFL political outtake 5. LFL political outtake 6. LFL political outtake 7. LFL political outtake 8. Roses Bloom For You (Interlude) 9. Best American Record / Architecture 10. Yosemite 11. You Must Love Me The beginning of the tracklist features classic acoustic Lana songs, followed by a potential LFL outtake that, based on the title, seems to be a boppier track, would belong at the beginning, leading into the political outtakes, plus the RBFY interlude, followed by BAR and Yosemite, which are the acoustic folkier counterparts, relationship-wise, of Summer Bummer/Groupie Love, followed by YMLM. I feel that would be the perfect closer because thematically, it’s quite reflective and could perhaps be a segway for more mature Lana themes
  11. I would love the EP to be acoustically driven but with a full sound, with a general vibe like BAR and what Yosemite is described to be. Maybe a title like “Sun Chaser” or “The Next Best American Record” etc. However, I would really like the album after that to be surf rock inspired; not this next EP if it’s going to be a continuation of LFL with Yosemite, because I would really like to hear what LFL originally was!
  12. @@UltraHeroin awwww thank you so much! Your visual album concept for Honeymoon is one of my favourite things on this site - I always go back to it!
  13. What videos do you all think the Honeymoon era deserved? Please detail your video concepts! I personally think The Blackest Day deserved a video - I imagine it to begin in an intricate church, and she has the iconic Honeymoon side swept bangs (styled the way they were in the Jork Weissman shoot) and she’s wearing a white dress from the Endless Summer Tour concert in Toronto. It starts out in black and white; while the first few seconds of the song play, we slowly pan in, close to Lana, with Lana lip syncing the opening lines to the song. Then, at the pre-chorus, we go into colour, a faded film texture almost, and we see Lana walking around on a windy beach, but the skies are grey, with almost purple-y storm clouds; She’s wearing a beige pea coat with a blue bandana tied loosely around her neck; We get close ups of the tide drawing in, everything with a lavender haze over the lens, interlaced with the lip synch shots in black and white. The video progresses with Lana driving in her car, preferably a top down, when the second verse starts. We get close ups of her eyes, interlaced with shots of blue nails, guns blazing, and purple lilacs, representing flashbacks. Then during the bridge, we see Lana in the High by the Beach house at night, putting the radio on and walking around, looking outside on the balcony in the dark, stormy night. The video ends with Lana running on the beach shown earlier in the video, looking on with a sense of resentment but freedom; she’s on her own again, as said in the song, and I think this could serve as the last video of the era, with Lana’s newfound freedom and liberation in her own independence being a great transition for the themes present in Lust for Life. What do you think?
  14. I think so too! Thanks! Nice to see like-minded individuals here I totally agree! I feel like Lana records have always had a general sonic vibe to them that makes them so cohesive, but with LFL, it's incredibly diverse, so I could totally see multiple directions!
  15. I was thinking about this, but I feel like she'd be regressing a bit if she did; LFL started out more like Honeymoon but did reach that bigger sound, like you said. I have a feeling after this, Lana will go into a less pop but still contemporary direction - maybe a surf rock sound or a glam, psychedelic guitar route, or even acoustic but with beats, like BAR. I'm thinking the beats she'll use will be more organic though, not electronic like the beats on songs like In My Feelings or Coachella - I have a feeling she'll go more natural. LFL was an album for the fans, and I think that's why it's so current, stylistically and lyrically - it's meant to reflect the modern world, whereas previous records have had a more organic, dreamlike sound because they were reflective of the world Lana built for herself through music. I can see LFL lyrical themes like Heroin/Change/Get Free coming together with a sonic atmosphere that's like Ultraviolence but more "Kill Kill" sounding, with psychedelic, colourful visuals, like Paradise meets something similar to the LA to the Moon stage set. Sorry, I kind of went on a tangent here, but I feel like as Lana gets older, she's going to retire that poppier sound, and I think this tour, where she dresses very current and where LFL as an album is somewhat stylistically current, is kind of like a "farewell" to that era of Lana, and we're going to explore a more mature side of her. But who knows what the future holds?
  16. I can totally see why! If I hadn't been watching the livestream I would've thought so too!
  17. Lana revealed at the NJ show that Yayo is about Rob, Mikey Martin's best friend, who (Mikey) is part of the Shiny Toy Guns. There's more information in the Lanalysis thread!
  18. @@reputation Wow! I can't believe you found all that! How did you even find these things out?
  19. If Lust for Life was called Best American Record and was released in late February 2017 - some songs are excluded, and some features lack the guest artists, going by the timeline of the LFL writing sessions (a thread you may want to check out!) 1. Love. 2. Best American Record 3. Something Real 4. Hollywood (not the leaked 2012/2013 track, but probably the name of a LFL outtake) 5. Lust for Life (feat. The Weeknd) 6. Groupie Love (feat. A$AP Rocky ) 7. Wild One (thinking this may be a track about a "subversive" person, which would phase well into the political side of the record) 8. God Bless America 9. When the World Was at War We Kept Dancing 10. Beautiful People (solo, HM era version) 11. Tomorrow Never Came (feat. Sean Ono Lennon) 12. Yosemite 13. Heroin 14. Get Free
  20. I updated my response up there, it wasn't about Mikey lol, it was about Rob
  21. Mikey Martin from the band Shiny Toy Guns' best friend, Rob; she wrote it after he died.
  22. She's wearing a red hoodie with a black leather skirt and her sparkle boots!
