I'll update the OP With the BAR video, though, I honestly thought it was filmed during that time because her fillers and overgrown bangs (lmao) matched the way they looked in Oct/Nov 2016 candids and the Corona Capital Show on Nov 20, 2016. Also, she filmed Love in 2016, and if BAR was the supposed title track, it would be plausible to have it filmed in late 2016 if she thought she finished the record with TNC in Jan 2017, but we don't know for sure, so I'll include that too. I know BPBP was registered since 2015 (and I feel like I've read on here that Lana and Justin Parker worked on it in 2012 but I'm not sure if that's accurate?) but I was more thinking that the way we hear it now, with Stevie's voice, but I'll include that too. With World at War, I totally agree, and I feel like the whole theme is based in a world where Trump is a leader, so that's after the election, but it could've been a song that's potentially about the fear people had of Trump's reign, so it definitely could've been before too. One thing I love to do is look at Lana's activity from when she was working on a record or what she says about working on a record and use that evidence to help formulate a timeline of when she began or finished writing songs on that record. I feel like LFL was the perfect record to do this with, considering Lana was pretty active outside of the studio with this record, and a lot of it deals with themes that were very current and had to do with the real world. I hope she's okay, perhaps she caught something while travelling, or maybe the whole lawsuit case has put too much stress on her system

Does anyone know when the court hearing is? Also - it really does suck that this is happening to Lana, regardless of which song, but it really stings to know that THIS track in particular, one that really is personal to Lana and is a symbol of her growth, is coming under fire. It's really sad, and I truly feel for her. However, we must hold on to hope to have a happy ending, as Lana says. This could be the universe's way of really driving that point home, that Lana is destined and sure to win this case, which would also make Get Free a symbol of triumph and victory, and persistence, which connects to her "lust for life" - her journey and desire to grow and evolve for the better, which is the main sentiment of Get Free.

I think that in the National Anthem video, she’s portraying both JFK and Obama (I think casting A$AP Rocky shows both JFK in that Lana directly quotes Jackie O and obviously having Rocky is a symbol of a more progressive time where people of colour are accepted as leaders, like Obama) and after performing that tonight, followed by WTWWAWWKD, which is an anti-Trump anthem basically, she connected the two to show both sides of what an American leader can be. It’s a commentary on “the country America used to be,” stated in the Ride monologue. At the time of its release, that line in the monologue referred to the free spirit and culture, but since Lana seems to have re-recorded the monologue for the tour, I think it almost redefines that line. In the wake of the LFL era, that line refers to a more ideal political way of being, which also groups Ride into this category

I’m so heartbroken to hear what she said about Get Free. We have to use the law of attraction to make sure it doesn’t get removed from circulation and that she WINS the lawsuit !

Yes, there were some things you included that I didn't write in my response to @@white gold but I really do believe she was depressed, and that's why I can't fully enjoy the darker tracks associated with that era.

The "I wish I was dead already" comment she made to the Guardian reporter, followed by the cancellation of multiple performances and appearances due to "mystery illness," which she told the Fader in May 2014 was the reason she became depressed. I'm sure there are other factors that we don't know about, as Lana is not one to divulge any details private matters, which I completely respect.

As much as I love Ultraviolence as an album, I find it really hard to listen to the song UV, especially after LFL has been released. I think seeing the way Lana was during the HM era and now, it really puts the UV era into perspective for me. Whenever I listen to UV (the song) it just reminds me of how depressed and sad she was during that time. Even reading interviews from the time just feels like it's not Lana, and it makes me so sad to see how sad she was. I really appreciate and love who Lana is now, and I'm glad she is happy within herself, or is at least striving towards that. I know the last part about Lana's happiness isn't unpopular, but I thought maybe not being able to listen to UV anymore was. Not sure, let me know if anyone else feels this way.
