He did deactivate his social media and he did delete his pictures with her (she didn’t post any of him ever) but there’s no official confirmation that they’ve broken up - to be fair, there were some “fan” accounts posting weird content involving Clayton and Sean and in general, a lot of fans were harassing him so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was why he deactivated his accounts. Hopefully everything’s good on Lana’s end and she’s doing okay regardless!

Just thinking about how cool it would be if Lana did a painted album cover like Joni Mitchell but also had hand-pressed flowers onto it like she and Chuck often do (which Chuck posted about doing to her IG story a few days ago and tagged Lana). I think it would be so beautiful so I made this

I am so ready and excited for this! It’s been a long time coming...

Lana has always had a country flair to her - so many of her vocal performances have a twanginess to them (which comes quite naturally for her, notably on Cruel World and Ride) so I can’t imagine she would stray too far away from her already established brand. Might I remind everyone that so many of her influences as early as her 2005 catalogue have been country artists from the 60s/70s. And of course, she always makes a genre uncharacteristically her own!

I can never rank them, no matter how hard I try! I love them all so much and they each serve a different purpose in her career, that I'm usually in the mood for each record at different times x

I was surprised to learn this too! A few months ago, I came across an old article about Nikki from 2014 and I saw that Chuck was actually credited as the photographer for the All Or Nothin’ promo photo used in it so I guess from there, she and Lana connected with each other - so funny how life works out like that!

I feel like Let Me Love You Like a Woman and Not All Who Wander Are Lost are the Midwestern heart of the record, in that they feel very hazy, warm, and “on-the-road” - even if they’re the “starker” songs on the record, they are definitely essential. They capture the mood of what this album strives to be perfectly. What I love about this record (and all of Lana’s albums) is that every song compliments each other perfectly and there’s so much more of an interconnectedness than ever before. And every song is just so beautiful! <3

One of my favourite songs — such a feel-good tune with an important message that I recommend to everyone during this insane time!
