It's so wild how big she has become. Her streaming numbers are insane and she's literally everywhere right now. I remember hearing Ocean Eyes for the first time back in like late 2016 and I just thought she was gonna be like Melanie Martinez 2.0 with a solid small-ish tumblr fanbase and no big hits, but she's one of the biggest artists out there right now.

copy cat’s bad. it sounds like any song off of k-12. her metaphors have been so weak recently, and the production sounds so dated. she lost her artistic touch tbh. can’t wait for more crybaby era leaks. people are wanting songs from like 2014 cause that’s when she was good.

I can’t stop listening to Break My Heart. The way the beat kicks in when she sings “but when you said hello..” and then she’s like “Am I falling in love with the one who can break my heart?” for the first time and u expect the chorus to end but then the beat kicks in Again but this time with a little sparkle like whewww I havent had a song make me gay scream as much as this one does in a While, and it isn’t even out yet. Also it has a cow bell, like, yes cow bell. I really hope she still makes it her next single even tho it leaked, this song deserves the single treatment.

I’m way too indecisive to do full rankings but I remember not even liking Off To The Races when I listened to BTD for the first time, but now it’s in like my top 5 of all her songs. Also In My Feelings was my favorite song off of Lust for Life on first listen. Idk what was going on there.. still like the song tho.

Just listened to L+F again after a while and End of The Earth, Believe in Love and Handmade Heaven remain my holy trinity. Emotional Machine’s up there too.

Future Nostalgia shaping up to be the best pop album since the late XCX World. Every single song so far slaps, including Break My Heart (which is my fave next to the title track) and If It Ain't Me (still think Sad Disco's a cuter title). On top of that the visuals are also amazing. The single covers and album cover are top quality.

The production's so ugly, like, the beats sound dated. It would've been better if the production was different and she changed that post-chorus with the ooh oohs that she's been doing a lot of recently and she like added a bridge so it wouldn't be as repetitive. The song's probs just a L+F outtake tho so it gives me hope that she'll switch things up for the next era, I like L+F but I don't want her to just do lighthearted pop songs from now on, I'm bored.
