Ah, Perfume was AMAZING last night in London. I can't breathe It was overwhelming to see them all in the flesh. We got to about 7th row which was pretty good seeing as we had to queue down three roads (we went straight from school so came as early as we could) They were so cute at the show, especially aa-chan who is so adorably annoying @@Harlem, did you have a decent place in the crowd? It was surprisingly easy for me to sneak in round the side, I probably really annoyed everyone though because I was definitely among the shortest and youngest fans.

Maybe it's drugs, I hope it's not alcohol. But I don't think we can really tell by comparing it with another interview from around the same time because the way she acts could also be influenced on the mood she was in that day, the interviewer, the actual relevance of the interview (like how many people are likely to see it which could make her nervous.) or how spontaneous the interview was/whether she'd had time to prepare. All those things add up on top of the fact she is a weirdo (which is a good thing imo)

I totally agree with how you describe the album as being light and dark simultaneously. It's great to get into Grimes because I found that Oblivion and Genesis were very east to love whereas the album tracks are a bit more difficult but you really want to like them so once you've listened to the Visions two or three more times, you're all of a sudden in love with her and you're ready to listen to her other albums.

I know, before Lana my music taste was almost non-existent. I never followed an artist's career like Lana's. National Anthem always has a special place in my heart, I always secretly wanted the album to hurry up and get to that song but I still can't bring myself to skip a song

I think that's why I don't appreciate it as much. The first and last thing I see every day is my BTD CD, Paradise box set and massive poster so I've got used to seeing it, it's just an every day part of my life which I (almost) ignore. Actually, saying that, I just had a 5 minute interval from writing this post to stare at my Lana things so maybe I still can't get over her existence.

That's true (sadly). But I don't see why her big fans need to act like that. Obviously we all want her to be beautiful even if it's not the most important factor but as a fan myself, this doesn't bother me.But you're right, if a female artist doesn't have all the looks, she'll either not get anywhere or get famous FOR it (lana and her duck lips).

Yes! BTD is an iconic album, the songs blend in perfectly and the production is fantastic. But I also hardly listen to it now, only really in the car or when family friends come over (for some reason my mum always wants people to know about my music taste which is embarrassing). I actually think the album's underrated by her biggest stans because her unreleased songs seem to be so much easier to listen to because you don't need to listen to it as a whole album plus there's always an unreleased song to fit your mood.

But why does she need to? It's not a big problem. She's added a little bit more stomach flab and she's not in as good shape as earlier this year or whatever, I don't see the big deal? She's not at an unhealthy weight, I think people are over reacting a bit.

I think she'd rock at covering it (like everything else she does) but wouldn't it be a bit... cheesy?
