i think it's because it's not an abstract theme you can "comfortably" quote rn? manson and jonestown were specific events that happened decades ago and are used often as reference in general culture, like dropping a bar like "she eat your heart out like Jeffrey Dahmer"  in a pop song. And pedofelia is a dark theme, but she uses a renowned classic novel to draw the imagery not a recent case? 
I think like in 5/10 years it's going to be the same for Weinstein, his name won't be just *His* but it's going to be a label for that kind of behaviour and people will name drop him too as the hollywood mogul executive who preyed on women but rn because of him a lot of people are coming out about their experience, and not just women: men and (former) child stars. So it's delicate because it involves people and eventual new voices. 
 
And I agree about the suggestive interview, altho it could have been planned in advance? I don't know if they still do that but the girl interviewing her was really cognisant about lana's body of work and they both seemed comfortable, maybe they reviewed the points they were going to talk about before to give structure to the interview. The Harvey thing is super delicate as I said previously, so I don't think Lana would talk about it without working on her statement before hand. 

One of the things that i love about Lana's newest interview with MTV is how personable, genuine, honest and warm she is. Definitely displaying how mature and comfortable she become in her own skin dealing with interviewers. Makes me wish i could just sit up at a cafe with her and discuss life. That would be so great. And relaxing.

yeah that's my major problem with all of AHS. murphy creates such irrational and illogical characters who do the most stupid shit even if it's completely inconsistent with their actions so far or just something nobody with a few brain cells would be dumb enough to do.
even w/ my favourite seasons, you kind have to numb your brain to all the stupid shit that goes on that just doesn't make sense. the gaping plot holes and sudden changes in character motivation drive me insane but i keep watching anyways

I know I say UV is my favorite album, but I really love all of Lana's albums so much She doesn't stop being great. I listen to LFL all the time cause it's a masterpiece. With Lana's albums, you have to wait a few months to really fall in love with its entirety. Why am I so passionate? No one in my life except here feels the same lol

I really liked this interview of LDR because I think she genuinely enjoyed this interview, felt comfortable with the questions asked and had a connection with the interviewer. I think it was interesting hearing some of the little bits of information she gave us. This interview was better than the video interview with that black and white filter. I know she said the interviewer isn’t that awkward but it was very unpleasant to watch that video interview.

My actual dream would be a full official video with a lot of aesthetic attention for Get Free, and just a stage performance-type video for Cherry, like what Burning Desire had, so Cherry wouldn't have an official video like it was a single, but more like a promotional video, if you get what I mean?

This was a good interview, between Rocky and Rick Nowels I could tell there's a lot of recorded songs we don't know about.
 
Cherry & Get Free were 2 good picks too. I think Get Free has more visual mystique to it though, I would love to see what she would create for it.
