I really do hope Boys flops it's way off the final album tracklisting, but I'm sure the label wants some kind of "claim to fame" tagline for the album. Something like "including the hit (not) single 'Boys'". I just don't want it to take up precious track space on XCX3.
 
+ I take back what I said about you trashing Charli but still getting to meet her, you were just frustrated and I can definitely relate.
 
Yesterday a friend of mine who was considering looking into Charli's music (I showed her Need Ur Luv and she liked it) told me she watched Charli's Boys performance on Jimmy Fallon and it was bad. This is the impression Charli made on a potential fan and the majority of the public with that flop of a performance. It didn't do her any favors. 
Bounce has definitely grown on me over time and literally my only issue with it is how the "ah-oooooh" before "we can heat it up to 100 degrees" soars up but comes back down. I wish it would've just stayed at it's highest point and faded away into the background.


 
Just in case you guys haven't heard Issues in full (I haven't until now)

If miss charli was smart she would get this vroom vroom type of video shit done QUICK, put it out as the second single with the video (or even premiere it at an awards show or something?) and actually continue the fucking HYPE and drop the full XCX3 towards the end of the year (like late october-early december). Boys is honestly (imo) building a little hype cause even my family and other people I know in the GP have asked me about it and talked about how the video was cool. I even heard it on a local radio station. But no this bitch is gonna let Boys be another ATAP and flop its way off the final album tracklisting. If XCX3 doesn't drop until late winter/early Spring 2018 Boys will have aged like rotten curdled milk (it's a great cute summer bop but it's not that great and is borderline basic). Any thoughts on this idea?

to anyone who has them and is not sharing: pls try to remember how you were once a thirsty fan for them yourself and count ur blessings and think about the rest of us and our depressions which you can help cure

haha, i had literally written an essay (which i then deleted because it wasnt worth it) about how bounce was originally going to be the 2nd single from the album but after the afterparty flopped so hard and had bad reception from kimmel that they panned it yesterday. this video could've very well been a choreo call for the music video that never was, it looks super vroom-vroomy, so i'm still mad that they never did anything with it. 

At least she is smart enough to get Charli at a reach for a hit single again.

Pop girls aren't going anywhere, it's the pop girls that innovate that are doomed. A lot of the major pop girls don't come across as genuine at all. They seem like they only serve to cater to what's hot at the moment; and I get it, pop has to sell to be popular, but it's the artistry that's lacking. That's what frustrates me the most, because although Sucker wasn't that great of an album, it was still a reinvention of Charli's sound. A complete 180 and the other pop girls can't relate. While everyone else is waiting to jump on the new "it" sound and suck the life out of it, Charli's always experimenting, and her label just doesn't get it. Her talent is being wasted on trying to break through into commercial stardom with bland singles when she has so much more to offer and the reality is, most people don't have an ear for xcxcellent pop music. She has her niche and her label needs to let her flourish instead of holding her back.

I met @@charli_xcx recently, my name is madison (@dinahbgc) and this is my M&G story. I met her October 20th of this year and it was horrific. She was rude, not classy, and she lost a long time angel that day. I walked into the $350 M&G and said hello and she replied with "fat" and I shook it off because I thought maybe I had heard her wrong. As I approached her and asked her to do my pose she stared at me blank faced. I continued talking. "You saved my life" I say. "You're the reason I'm alive today." She looks me dead in the eye and says "you'll die soon enough, fatty," and then whispered "obesity." I started crying I had never felt pain like this and she started laughing and said "are you crying? Stop it. Stop it now." and she flicked my vagina. The photographer took the picture and I headed out of the M&G section and that's when Charli started speaking whale to me. I still can't believe this happened. I cried writing this. I wish this weren't true but Charli is in fact; a horrible person.
