Does anyone else think that Jim/he might be a metaphor for alcohol?  It seems like it may make sense.

First of all, I am sorry for ruining the row of comments about who Jim is (which are great, keep the analysis coming!). Anyways, I remember that I once read what Lana said about 'Million Dollar Man' and it was this quote:
 
"It's a song about a man who thought I was one of the most exotic things he had ever seen and me indulging in his appreciation and love. On the outside he was handsome and wholesome, but under wraps he was running an illegal electronic business which ended up taking him and his friends under." 
 
Could this be K? I think he is Lana's only boyfriend who went in prison.

Perhaps Jim is an amalgamation of different guys she's been with... don't forget she's telling a story and though the album is autobiographical as she claims it's impossible to know how faithful she's being in terms of names/places/relationships.

Because Jim is the perfect American Dream name and she probably made him up obv she says her songwriting is autobiographical but I don't think it is with this one and I hope it's just an exaggerated version of her life like it usually is lol

B) I don't know, it strikes me as kind of selfish when you try to dictate an already on-topic conversation on a forum because you don't like what's being said.
 

Mess. The instrumentals are great, but the vocals are horribly mixed, and it annoys me so fucking much. I love the songs, but the vocals are so bad.

Well, I guess when you truly believe her lyrics haven't worsen you must be in denial.. I just feel like she doesn't show as much variety any more, her lyrics have become really really simple instead of clever ryhming. She always talks about painting pictures with words, but they're not as vivid as they used to be. But don't wanna complain, I don't know but it's just that common phenomenon of your fave band/singer's first album, they just never go back.

I just have a bit of a hard time associating Lana with the Kardashians. I don't know, it just doesn't go together for me.

I can officially say I'm not a fan of Lana anymore after this. She's a sellout - I can't believe she accepted any amount of money to perform for this trashy family. This is the final straw. I just don't think of her the same anymore. It's a joke that she says she's a fan of Kurt Cobain. Kurt would have never in a million years been associated with her. He hated shit like this. She's truly sold out for fame. Now I'm wondering if she was any different from the start. Maybe she wasn't. I guess if any opportunity arose, she would have taken anything. I'm not supporting her or buying any of her stuff anymore. I'm not gonna go around bashing her either, I just had to get that off my chest. I know I'm just one person and I don't matter to her or anyone but it is what it is. I'm sorry it took me too long to see right through her.

If you want to be there early in the morning, then go. I won't do that to myself and my body. That is insane. I'll be there at 2pm earliest.
I think 3-4 pm is fine. Most of the time I am at the location 2 hours before entrance and I always got the 1st or 2nd row.
Moreover, it's Friday, it's a school day. I don't think there will be waiting many, only obsessed ones.

Sorry, but I go to every big concert in Seattle that has the audience Lana will (Gaga, Marina) and you don't need to arrive that early.
