  1. She seems interested in it to me. That's my point, though. She barely sings any Ultraviolence material and pretty much ignored it after it dropped. tbh, I don't care about her performing any Honeymoon-era shit. I want her to perform her Lizzy Grant material, tbh. I want live performances of Pawn Shop Blues, Put Me In A Movie, Brite Lites, Mermaid Motel, and Boarding School. She's performed them before so idk why she can't again.
  2. Hmm... Y'all are getting mad at Lana over cancelling an event her and her team never even knew about or agreed to? Yikes.
  3. Y'all are expecting her to perform songs that she clearly wants nothing to do with because of their association with her exes and... it's not gonna happen. I feel like if she could, she'd just erase Ultraviolence from her discography the way she did AKA.
  4. How are you not able to sing your own songs? It usually blows up whenever major news happens. When we get the preorder or tracklist, it'll blow up again.
  5. UMG properties treating May 26th as the date is definitive proof it was the original release date. Also, Ben said it was pushed back for more collaborations. Can't push an album back if July 21 was its original date.
  6. I'm predicting 12 solo original songs, 5 collabs, 1 cover.
  7. Isn't it a radio station, though? I'd imagine that radio stations have protection enough to stop anyone with ill intent.
  8. Maybe she'll perform on NPR again! (wishful thinking...)
  9. yeah :/ I know. When Obsidian was making Fallout: New Vegas for Bethesda, they tried getting Elvis songs to use (because Elvis is pretty much synonymous with Vegas) and it would have cost them more than their entire budget just to license three songs.
  10. Are you sure? I downloaded it in the hour it leaked, and the one I got was 97 kbps.
  11. Priscilla can't stop her if she doesn't ask.
  12. While I've been following Lana since she first came out (as Lana), I wasn't really on any forums or anything for her until Born To Die had already come out, so I'll preface this statement with that. I can't honestly see her NOT having attracted fragile/broken people since the very beginning. Like, even before Ultraviolence, her lyrical content was never all that conducive to good mental health. (The Lolita complex that Lana clearly had on AKA, Born To Die, and Paradise should be evidence of that.) Additionally, I lowkey kind of feel that Lana helped to make these people broken. She made music that they used to romanticize Lolita-esque dynamics and drug addiction, etc.
  13. You're probably right, about the first part. About them wanting her to suffer, I don't think they've thought it that far ahead. I think they want her to be happy, but still sing sad songs. I feel like if people paid more attention to her previous work, they'd be able to tell we're not getting the same lyrical content as past albums again. (Like, she never revisited her May Jailer-era even when it would have benefited her)
  14. How can you relate to songs with themes that aren't particularly personal, whatever mood they are or not? I love Lana's music and I love her music this era...but that was a bad take.
  15. I think it's possible to want an Ultraviolence-style album without wanting a remake of Ultraviolence or even an album with the lyrical themes of Ultraviolence. I don't know about anyone else, but when I say I want another Ultraviolence, I mean I want Lana to work with other producers who will push her the way Dan Auerbach pushed her. Not ones who will give in to her every creative whim. If she made a completely upbeat album, but with a producer who could wring every single ounce of talent she had out of her and put it into that album, that would be an Ultraviolence 2.0, to me. Basically, an Ultraviolence followup to me is less about the content or sound of the album and more about the production that goes into it.
  16. i'm not asking for any kind of link to it but: did we ever get Architecture/Best American Record in higher quality than what had first leaked? the bitrate on it is so low...

I just got into her music! Does anyone have a masterpost of like...her unreleased stuff? And Waiting for the Prize? PM me <3
  18. Are you expecting her to perform the full version of Cherry when she performs truncated versions of most of her non-Born To Die songs?
  19. why would she say that if there is no new record?
  20. I hope people are recording the performance from the stream -__-
  21. Is anyone recording this? I'm missing it and I'm so upset -__-
  22. No. Disco album with production by Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis...those kinda people.
