Lady Gaga dyed her hair brown, Rihanna mentioned James Dean in a song, Beyonce's doing an H&M campaign, Katy Perry's headed for a "dark" era, Selena Gomez is culturally appropriating. Even Kanye West is copying her by not promoting his album for jack shit! It's just Adele's turn to be shaking in her boots and emulating the sadcore queen!

Gangnam Style and Call Me Maybe are the two biggest-selling singles of this century and I don't think anyone with eardrums would consider them quality.
 
Had she kept the original versions of songs like Radio, Lolita, and Summertime Sadness, the album would have sold just as well or even better.
 
Emile did great work on some pieces like Blue Jeans, National Anthem, and Born to Die, but having him re-do every song made the album repetitive and when you hear the Rick James sample every 8 bars and the auto-tuned loon every 32 for an hour straight, it becomes tiresome.

I think it does sometimes because the popularity of yaoi (sp?) but I'm saying that the hypocrisy is annoying. A lot of them seem to think women are lesbians for their sexual gratification and are only doing things to work guys up. It's really sexist and annoying. Then, upon seeing gay guys they claim it's not 'natural' but natural is thinking every woman is here to please you? I kid you not, I've heard a guy say that "no women are lesbians, they just need a good D".

Guys, I think that you're overreacting.

Considering some of her songs have some feminist type stances (imo), it's weird that she says she doesn't have any take on feminism. Her saying we've got to a good place 'as women'..hmm.
 
Interesting interview really. But I don't believe she is no longer patriotic otherwise she wouldn't sing American on tour and she wouldn't put American flags on her speakers at her concerts? That's a shame if true..
