Lana Del Rey took to Twitter tonight to officially confirm her new short film titled Tropico.
 
Thanks to paparazzi and a brief tease from Lana herself at a concert in Europe, we've known of the existence of this film for quite some time. However, Lana has broken her silence and decided to give us all deliverance by posting this new poster for the film and following it up with, "TROPICO - a 30 minute film coming to a city near your. Premier dates coming soon. Lots of Love, Lana Del Rey.", perhaps suggesting that the project is at last complete.
 
The film will serve as an extended music video for three songs from her latest release, "Body Electric", "Gods & Monsters", and "Bel Air". It is directed by Anthony Mandler ("National Anthem", "Ride") and co-stars Shaun Ross.

Ride is my absolute favorite. I have an emotional connection with that song and love it till the end of time.
Born To Die is close second though.

For me BTD - Paradise Edition is still the best CD I've ever bought. I was searching for years for something like this. It's like a piece of gold for me.
I still listen to this perfect album everyday. Especially in the car when driving home from work. I have a rather stressful job and I calm down when I can listen to Lana's songs.
I have the BTD - Paradise Edition double; one for at home and one in the car. And then also on PC and Ipod.
I'm getting nervous when I start thinking at the next album she'll release in the future. I'm going to be one of the first in this country who's goning to buy it.
Maybe difficult to understand, but Lana's music got me also over my broken 8,5 years relationship. Sometimes I skipped Dark Paradise because it was too heavy to listen to but the other songs and especially Ride was really perfect for me. So I have a special connection with this song. I'm Lana really thankful for this.
I hope she'll have a long singing career and I wish her all the luck in her life. She deserves it.

I admire BTD and the Paradise Edition. It has a special place in my heart. I listen to this album several times a day. It's so perfect and inspiring. BTD helped me to understand the world and my own feelings. When things got more difficult, it helped me out. I'm Lana thankful for the rest of my life. BTD and the Paradise Edition are masterpieces and I'll love them for ever.

The part that was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court is called "Section Three," which prevented the federal government from recognizing any marriages between gay or lesbian couples for the purpose of federal laws or programs, even if those couples are considered legally married by their home state. The other significant part of DOMA makes it so that individual states do not legally have to acknowledge the relationships of gay and lesbian couples who were married in another state. Only the section that dealt with federal recognition was ruled unconstitutional."
 
This indeed good news for the homosexual community. I'm happy for them!
Although I'm not gay myself, I have some gay friends and these are really great people.

I find myself mostly listening to unreleased songs the most for whatever reason, but then when a song from BTD comes on shuffle, it's such a nice reminder of how great it really is. 

Wow guys she's put on a few pounds. I'm not going to lie, in some pictures, it's pretty clear. But come on, she's just been on a tour so she's probably been living off a lot of junk food and not had much time to work out.
And why the fuck are people defending Adele by shading Lana on a Lana Del Rey forum. We're supposed to support her here, not start picking up on little details like how she has a soft belly when it's pretty obvious Adele's fatter than Lana. It's not hate because I don't care if Adele's chubby, I still think she looks good - it's just a fact.
 
Well I love Lana's figure, it really doesn't bother me anyway. I want to hug her. 

Getting in some work before the weekend, Lana Del Rey shot scenes for a music video on Friday (June 28) in Chatsworth, CA. The sultry songstress had several wardrobe changes throughout the shoot, including a firey red bra and panty set with a dollar bill hanging out from the underwire.

Other clothing choices were more demure, especially as the 27-year-old hopped in to an old blue convertible in a long, flowing white dress.
