Thought I'd share my progress so far with delving into Björk, here's my ratings for each album as it stands:

    Debut: 6/10
    Post: 9/10
    Homogenic: 8.5/10
    Vespertine: 9.5/10
    Medúlla: ---
    Volta: 6/10
    Biophilia: 9/10

    What's everyone else's?

True, true. I'm sure I'll grow to love it like the rest of her work :)

Will do! I actually just listened through a hunk of Medúlla and wow it's sooo weird lol... I mean I don't hate it, but I'm not sure how I feel about the whole acapella thing tbqh. Like I love Björk's vocals layered over beautiful instrumentation, and she took away half of that on Medúlla.

Haha it's okay, I knew what you meant

And the thing is that I LOVEEE Biophilia, so maybe I would feel the same about Medúlla!

The only track on Biophilia I don't really love is "Sacrifice"... I need to give it another listen

Wow maybe I need to check out Selmasongs since you gave it as good of a rating as Biophilic lol. I have ignored it up until now!

And I haven't listened to any of Drawing Restraint #9 other than "Storm", which I did like. Also haven't listened to Medúlla....

Broods is a New Zealand based brother/sister duo, Caleb & Georgia Nott. Caleb's production paired with Georgia's vocals make for some exquisite sounds. They sound to me much like a love-child of Lorde, CHVRCHES, and Imogen Heap. I really think a lot of you all will enjoy their music

She didn't mention anything, she just said that she's really going to try to build hype for this EP so in the future she can have charting songs. I'm getting all this from her email newsletter (which you can read below).

Maybe you're just so hipster that you have to force yourself to make every artist's worst song you're favorite

After a very long drought in the world of Florrie, we finally have some new! Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with an album. She has, however, announced that she's releasing a(nother) new 3-track EP, Sirens with the first single called Seashells! She says it's, "probably one of the strangest tracks" she's ever worked on. She's also releasing a music video for each one of the songs which she has flmed with Jack Bowden & Ferry Gouw. She's also announced that she'll be redesigning her look with a new logo and such (see above). According to Florrie, each video will be released with only a few weeks in between them and we will be able to buy all the tracks on iTunes by the end of April! What do you guys think of the names Sirens (ironic, huh?) and Seashells? What are you expecting?

    THEIR EP IS BRILLIANT.
I'm looking forward to their future album.

    Love everything on the EP.

    A promo opportunity http://m-o-slash.tumblr.com/tagged/reviews

I'm mostly interested in how that track flows from Never Wanna Know to Pilgrim, since she's described the album as a story from beginning to end, and that's also a transition from ballad to upbeat...What transitions we already know slay me so much, like beginning with Fire Rides and ending with Glass, and then Fire Rides-Maiden-NWK, as well as Pilgrim-DWD-WOT-DIG-XXX 88. I really value track flow tbh. Anyway, I hope that's the next preview we'll get!

Tea: apparently Dummy Head is the song that she discussed the lyric "bikini daze" coming from!

Early reviews have praised Walk This Way and Slow Love, though. Yeah it's all gonna kill tbh
