Super Sunset and CXI are her best albums and I think both of them being EPs tells you all you need to know about that shorter album means less singles, a more cohesive body of work and consistent imagery. CXII is a hodge podge and Cape God is cohesive but not the most engaging listen.

The entire album is being reworked (as it should be given how all over the map the released and leaked tracks have been) and she's releasing a trio of cast-offs from it that have a similar theme to at least get something out is my understanding.

2Bad was for N1A and never intended for XCX3 but it's a great song so I'm glad it was included for people just discovering her

Anything that leaves off Real Love is automatically terrible.

Cleaning up my library... did we ever figure out which SOPHIE remix of High on Helium was the correct one? 2:26 or 2:40?
-
Wow that new version of Just One Touch sounds so much better!

Someone on Twitter posted a photo of her after the show where she was masked up and couldn't meet people for photos due to COVID concerns, I think stuff may have been passed to her to sign though.

Well it is a b-side to a vinyl single, so a pretty random thing for her to bring up.

That Kid being the opener at my show? I'm gonna lose my shit to Dial Tone.

Once 'Cold Heart' dies down I'm sure it'll be radio silent on her end with no more singles or new features until the lead is ready to drop. I'm not worried about overexposure because it still feels like she's not a household name yet despite being omnipresent on streaming and radio nonstop for 2 years. There will be so much interest in what comes next that her next album could very well shape a genre shift.
-
I think she was referring to a long wait because it'll be awhile before she's prepared to do the promo cycle for another album due to tour
-
She hasn't been with Anwar for awhile.
-
Considering this won't be touched by radio in the U.S. the only people complaining are internet gays who stan Ava Max despite her entire career and persona being derivative of other artists.
-
It's only sold through her web store and it's translucent instead of opaque.
-
It's definitely giving future jazz. Hearing saxophone with her voice is recalling Terrence Loves You

Fever is great. She just did We're Good to break up the disco/dance inspired tracks. Cold Heart is doing great and she sounds her best on it. I wouldn't exactly say she's gone back to anything.

Honestly her releases have always been a mess. So many different track listings of every album and weird release dates. Unwritten (the album) was out in the UK for almost a full year before it was released in the US. It got reissued in the UK after that and then again in the US the next year. NB came out in the UK in spring 2007 but was released as Pocketful of Sunshine in Jan. 2008 in the US; again with different track listings. Strip Me was released Q4 2010 in the US first as a targeted approach to the American market with a Euro release a few months later including songs from Pocketful. She did random things here and there for a few years. Roll With Me was released everywhere in 2019 -- I haven't listened to anything from this album kii. She was on The Masked Singer at the end of 2021 but didn't win. I'd love to see her live, it's impossible to be sad listening to her music. Pocketful is one of my go-to albums when I'm feeling down.

I'm pretty sure she was slowly buying the masters back over time, not all at once. I wonder if the person responsible for the leaks is connected to the label and did this to spite her after spending all that money on getting them.
-
Uh, no... to insinuate she's been lazy is so off-base it's not even funny.
-
Outlaw also leaked today and it's a damn bop, as expected.

I adore Honeybear from top to bottom and Pure Comedy has some of his best lyrics. I ordered the emerald green Spotify exc variant of the new album.
