Back in December LAST YEAR, he said, in DMs (I think? ) it could endup on the LDrVillage, that it could be related to new apparel / merch. And since no one ever found any lyric / song related to that acronym, we all jumped to the conclusion that it was related to a new song. That and the fact that she said to a fan, at that event who said she loved BB, that the next album was even better. to all the UV lovers… another (misunderstood) iconic classic in her discography is rising…

Still to this day, I wish the LDRVillage guy hadn’t said a thing. At best, when I saw the jacket, I was intrigued but thought it was a local shop type of jacket, not something related to her merch. BoZ also added fuel to our apprehension fire, when he tweeted the lyrics of WCE, a year ago, and we began moving and thinking something was brewing and that an album could be upon us in the next months. BB just turned a year old and we’ve been parched as if it was 2016-2017.

So we have to check for Lana’s complete entourage Thanksgiving posts to maybe get a small hint of crumb of tease for the album?! Thank God November is about to end and maybe December will have something. I keep my hopes very low. But 2023 will be monumental for us: - new album; - BTD will hit 5B streams on Spotify; UV and NFR = 2B; HM = 1B, plus songs will reach the 100M stream landmark as well. - maybe new poetry, but surely a couple of surprises (collab? Soundtrack?)

Meanwhile, here, it’s the dead of winter seriously though you deserve an album in your summer. The north hemisphere stans have been lucky, in passed releases, with her albums coming out in summer.

On an angry and wordy album?!? love RBFY, but don’t see it on the tracklist as of now. Same with Fine China that is one of her best songwriting ever and that I wish could end up on an album some day.

I’m having many thoughts and questions on this grey morning 1-when insiders get their hands on her album, are the songs already in order intended for the album or do they have to guess the order? 2- I’m starting to think that leak Nations was right, when they said « LDR next month » 3- I still want that album trailer that would unveil the title, snippets, aesthetics and release date 4- I’m revisiting pretty much all of her discography these days (starting with UV and moving on). She really has an iconic discography so far. HM hit peculiarly hard with its lush production, same with the second half of UV. LFL needs to be revisited, especially the « political tracks » that are still relevant these days. God Save Our Young Blood isn’t so bad, even though minimal for Lana (Snow on the Beach is similar when it comes to her « presence » on the track), but I still couldn’t help but skip DCMA even if Lana’s bridge is superb (the damn bell cows put me off instantly) 5- I’m having a lot of insults for BoZ’s friend that I won’t name here because I’ll surely get a WP even if he is not a LB member that we know of: you have got to be kidding me, crying to BoZ that the LB cra-cra are harassing him and he posts, 48 hours later, changed lyrics to I Talk To Jesus (I never liked ITTJ because of my religious childhood that fucked me up good, but if she’d include a version with those lyrics and changed production, I think I could warm up to that damn Christian hymn).

Now y’all talking about a trailer that would unveil the album got me all excited for that

@Selfloathinpoet has been around for a few years already… They would risk a lot by trolling us (aka neverending hate on our part)… unless they are making their LB suicide seriously, it better be true. I can’t take it anymore, with nothing happening after someone got us all riled up.

This is also why I love Lana: She defies and transcends and destroys maths I don’t know how to count her albums anymore but it’s nothing new. I remember that Interscope considered Norman as her 6th album and a neverending debate went on about Paradise being an EP or a regular album and how to count them. And now we have Violet to complicate things. The new album will determine if I count Violet as an album, I guess. My first impression of the album is that it is very lyrically challenging, like poetry.

FJM only confirmed he was on the album. The « sooner than expected » comment was added by a fan account, from what I gathered.
