The fact that she sent voice memos to Drew, that was singing a note memo when Jack began playing piano: the lyrics will probably be all over the place, carefree and wild

Magnificent and gorgeous on every level Twin Flame is this weird song that builds up so slowly and majestically God Turned Me Into a Flower is the song I want played at my funeral. Just so trippy and wonderful. Hearts Aglow is THE anthem of 2022 the last two songs are the ones I liked the least on first listen but the lyrics on The Worst is Done brought me back to the pandemics (and I really love the spacey - synth sounds in the beginning, like an ultrasound or being in a womb) The first two singles were always gorgeous, but they resonate even more with the whole lot.

I think i was fine this time around with the word soon because 2022 hasn’t been total silence on her part, with the two songs she released, and we got two albums in 2021 (plus there are some amazing non-Lana releases this fall). I get that we’re always hungry for new Lana and soon is never soon enough with us… but I must say that I really hope we get something by the end of the year. Soon doesn’t really excite me anymore and I don’t think that’s what you’d want for a new release, to have fans not excited 😆

I love how they do their releases. I wish Interscope would do the same but then again, when I learned someone had recorded the Weyes songs on their phone and shared them on sharing sites, the same would happen with Lana for sure.

I wouldn’t even have thought it’d be for Lana - maybe- if it wasn’t for the 😏 and ⏰ emojis… He really seems to be hinting at something, just like he did with his « See you in September » caption for Weyes.

Yeah it’s the name of the new single but the song is about the myth of Narcissus and if it was for Weyes, I’d expect the flower of the same name in the visuals… Not that it means that those orchids are for Lana per se… but maybe?!

I like not having any snippet (no I don’t really count the Rockefeller one: it’s 7 seconds, in the studio and we can’t hear anything - i don’t think I played it more than 5 times it was out). But in the same time, just like you said, it’s very very dry.

I always thought that BB hadn’t done that well on steaming platforms… and yet, it’s her third fastest album to achieve 300M streams. Not bad after all!
