HM was the perfect rollout. It’s kinda sad that something always happens to mess up the rollout… (although it’s sometimes her fault- NFR era vibes).

Speaking of Weyes, I love what her company does: a month before release, any copy bought through their official store can be streamed. Before someone leaked lq recordings of Weyes’s album, I thought Interscope could do the same for her fans… but then again, someone surely would record the songs and leak them

The cover album always seems to be tossed aside for new songs. Which is not bad per se. But I doubt that the album coming isn’t the one she talked about in the W Magazine and in her latest post (no way she was talking about covers?!)

So far so good indeed, but I’m afraid leaks will begin once the album is getting announced

Not to burst anyone’s bubble, but… I don’t think FJM said the album was sooner than we expect (unless I missed something, isn’t it what a LDR fan account added?) the album might not have been submitted yet. Not likely but not impossible either. BOZ could have listened to leaks from the stolen computer and it might not be the whole album (maybe he didn’t even hear the Jon Batiste track).

I just had a very rude and bitchy thought yesterday: when Lana was thinking about the stars aligning on her birthday, the stars were aligning for her stuff to get stolen? (too soon?)

It’s kinda unfortunate that her laptop was stolen because this era was, so far, going so well for her in terms of nothing leaking and not giving away so much.

I don’t believe the album is getting released in the next weeks and even a single in December is a bit too odd to be true, but to have some sorta news makes me jump everywhere, plus it’s getting more and more certain that BoZ was talking about Lana

This « era » reminds me A LOT of Chemtrails: - interview in the summer with photos that served, saying something was coming but wasn’t done yet; - beginning of fall: Lana posts about the album not being released yet. - a new single… that doesn’t satisfy us (Snow on the Beach / Let Me Love You Like a Woman); so… teasing in December and real single in January that will slay us?!

I really hope the FJM feature is true. still not over Buddy’s rendezvous At this point, this album can be anything she wants it to be, as long as its got more prod than piano only on most of tracks. Summer’s gone, so I don’t need summer bops anymore, my trippy haze songs got satisfied with Broken Bells’s latest (and a bit of the new Weyes), and Taylor gave us bops, so Lana can do her thing now and I probably won’t complain

Yeah but he pretty much always teases Lana stuff when it’s about to be released or not too much in advance (he knows how insatiable we are). My guess is that he heard the album but might start really talking about it when the lead is in sight.

The sad about it all is that we’ll never hear the full story on what is happening. Sorry Sky, we all want to believe you but hey, it’s getting harder by the day

I always like to look at what is the trend right now, when it comes to marketing / physical copies before making speculation as what she should do. although the offer can’t supply demand when it comes to vinyls and with higher risks of leaks because of physical copies being sent, many big names decided not to surprise drop / digital release only for day one for their latest release. Taylor and Beyoncé are both good examples. so, I don’t think Interscope would be too enthousiastic at the idea of a digital release on week one since physical copies count in a good proportion in the numbers of week one. but hey, who knows anymore? 2022 is already her biggest year ever when it comes to streams with almost no new releases from her.

Just like when she posts random dates on her IG for an album, she hadn’t checked with her company if it was even a possibility. Let’s not jump the gun here its Nov 1st 2022.

As much as I’d love that, this is what I tell myself on how she plans things: Lana: As opposed to Taylor: I’d only want Yes to Heaven on the album so we can finally get it out of our collective systems (and also to hear the millionth mix of that song).
