I Love it here this era sure is mysterious AF if we move for her lanadelrey.com website changing (which is not a relic of another time but almost - i also saw a couple of IG fan accounts getting excited because the shop link on this site doesn’t work anymore : since LDRVillage, it never did). I still don’t know what to make of it but find it premature to lose my mind over this. At least it’s better than counting Ben’s 😍 in his story and believing it’s a countdown for an announcement

I really used to love Ride… but can’t remember the last time I listened to it in recent months and I surely didn’t connect with it My all-time unpopular opinion will probably be that I really love Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood and that most of the unreleased demos / songs, well I get why they never were on an album

To avoid leaks or, at least, contain them, a digital release with a preorder for physicals coming later would be the best avenue. but that would mean that her numbers for week one would be split and some visuals might be delayed for later. and also, this is not very popular at the moment…

A copy was on her computer or someone could access the album from her phone (not sure, it’s still a bit fuzzy to me; I know she deleted from her cloud her poetry). The producers all have a copy of the songs, so we don’t have to fear that the masters were stolen forever. i doubt she’d redo it. BoZ said it was a masterpiece, so you don’t redo that. And if she decided to redo it, her record company would still have to pay producers and Lana could then be seen as a bit of « risky investment » in the future (a la Sky Ferreira )

NFR’s album trailer was everything… it was also such a surprise to me: with the cheap MV and selfie pics as single covers, I thought this would be the visuals for the era haha! But that weird / vintage vibes for the trailer were exceptional. I hope she does something like that for this album.

I really think this album doesn’t follow that logic on purpose. We’ve always complained she was talking too much too soon about her albums: this time around: it feels very deliberate that she said almost nothing. Love you to death but hope you are not right: I can’t see myself waiting another 6-7 months or even a year without this album… plus knowing the album had leaked, it is in the best interest of everybody to not sit on it for too long…

It was a very very short teaser indeed haha but we already knew the album title, we already had heard a single and knew a MV for the title track was coming… which we have none right now but did we find out about the tracklist through Shazam before or after that teaser?

I agree with you 💯 % on everything you said. March seems like a strong possibility. December will have something, even if it’s just a teaser / snippet. the teaser for COCC was very genius: to announce the preorder just before the holiday break (even though we had to wait for almost three weeks for any real info) All for a February release, but couldn’t care less for a repeated release month if it meant we’d have to wait longer one month or two just for the sake of it, tbh.

BoZ does know a lot about when vinyls are being sent to pressing (he did know Taylor had sent Midnights at the end of May). If he heard Lana’s album, it’s surely wasn’t because of the theft. anyways, when the rollout starts, I think a short pre-release is possible, since the vinyls are surely being pressed as we speak.

DragonWhore said to listen to Leak Nation, that posted that she could release a single in December… DragonWhore´s comment could have been about the DollClub’s post saying something was coming last week, simply insinuating they were wrong… or it could be that a single could be coming this month just like Leak Nation said. anyways, Lana, please do something: scrap phobia is on full rage mode on LB and I’m not that strong to fight it alone

When people here start to get « scrap phobia », it’s usually a sign the album is coming.

A single is not entirely out of the picture but not likely. It could be a promo single, with the rest coming in 2023. But I expect some acknowledgement/ snippet / teasing of the album for sure.
