NFR really was a one-year nightmare of a pre-release. i think what makes the wait ok this time is that I thought a March release was the earliest we could have hoped for. Unless more vinyls plants open, the days of HM’s less-than-two-months prerelease are sadly over.

Ok this so funny we were desperate for the era to begin, last month but yeah, it’s kinda true that I want to know / hear more about this album. Thank god I have a vacation planned until the beginning of January to get my mind (somewhat) off that album

I don’t think she even posted a snippet of the song, right? Preorder day was so chaotic at work and on socials, I had a hard time keeping up.

We survived NFR’s pre-release. We got this. we don’t have the tracklist yet, a new single is almost certain somewhere mid-January - mid February. Maybe even a third one. Maybe some MV, maybe some photoshoots for magazines… It won’t be a drought.

Venice Bitch: paint me happy in blue (fave song from her, so no -brainer) but the best rendition of the word is on the title track of NFR: you make me bluuuuuueeeee

The long-ass acronym doesn’t make any sense at all any song title with Lizzy or Elizabeth has me immediately going like . except for « Lizzy, I’m calling from Calihoma » Waist Deep in Icy Waters feat FJM would be too much of a fan’s wet dream to be true.

Although I read that interview a couple of times, I’m still not sure Back in May, this is what we thought, but maybe we’re wrong. one thing is for sure though: the song must be very special for Lana if she mentioned it back in May and did include it in her thank you note (surely a « Hope » situation, when she is happy because she didn’t think the song could be done)

Yeah me too! Is it part of Fingertips (title sure seems to be indicating that) or the Grants ? (she said, back in May, it was the opening of track one, no? Although songs often change places on an album)

I had never seen the photos like that, but you might be on to something… the colours do remind me though of the waves in the different sleeves of the vinyls.

The orchid being a « symbol » for a vulva is indeed an art reference (think Georgia OKeefe’s paintings). And there’s clearly a reference to female genitalia in the title track. Alien pussy though… not so sure.

The chorus of the title track is one of her most memorable Melodies ever, and it still hits each time after one week i hope she has other tracks that make me tear up on this album

The fact that we don’t have a MV for the time track kinda makes me believe it was homemade video she lost in the theft but if the « lead single » is a big-budget one, the director will have a copy of it for sure

This morning, I’m having a big hunch that DNC will be on the album and will be the second single Neil’s comment, about the album sounding like 🌊 and all the visuals for the vinyls. I know the song with the long-ass acronym has a maritime theme, but it can’t be just one song.

lol they didn’t place the tracks on the right order, didnt get the collabs we know with the right tracks and got their lengths wrong. and killing Lizzy?!? Come on.

What surprises me the most is that she usually lets the other artist shine on pretty much all of her collabs. Not a bad thing per se, but if the only reason one listens to the song is for Lana, then it’s pretty much deceiving But I’m glad she is taking center stage on at least a couple of them on her album

Chemtrails will be the new Honeymoon and will take forever to reach 1B streams. And yeah, BB is doing great mainly because of Dealer that will reach 100M in January. The rest of the songs will take way longer to reach that milestone. anyways, I hope that the new album will do well and will have at least two or three tracks that will draw a lot of GP attention. She deserves recognition with this one, I think.

Probably to have a little surprise to show later and also, to prevent leaks as long as possible : the minute we know the titles, we’ll look them up on sharing sites for sure
