Thunder def belongs on BB: so far, the album has a couple of references to storms: thunder, thunderbirds, fights, heat lightning. i love your “double sound” idea of this album! Hope it comes to fruition!

Of all her unreleased, the one I think has ? lyrics is Fine China. This album has some incredible lyrics so far, but : - not sure it would fit the album; - Rick isn’t on BB; - and yeah, two already heard songs is “enough” for an album. Can’t wait to hear Thunder in HQ and the final version of Cherry Blossom.

I really love BB but it’s a bit abrupt to begin the record. Besides, I love diving into a record and not having heard the opener. White Dress has been so much more magical the first time. Plus I love some sort of intro to the opener and, Well, BB has none…

Anyways, Lorde seems to be pretty loose when it comes to the rollout of this album (reminds me of Lana in the NFR era haha!), and I’m not sure how planned the singles are now, with Solar Power leaking.

It’s a possibility. Two “insider” accounts said she would release a single this week (and one of those accounts has been right about pretty much everything about Lorde so far).

maybe not a whole album, although she has some incredible unreleased songs, but let’s imagine a cute pop EP made of Serial Killer, Paradise and Queen of Disaster Her streaming numbers would be through the roof forever and ever, and she could still be profitable to Interscope no matter what album she releases next. The only downside to that would be that she would have to perform those songs on tour for the GP… which I’m not sure she would love.

Same ?? the producers for this album ? maybe I’ll be disappointed after a couple of songs (not a big fan of her voice tbh), but I’m super curious right now.

CDs aren’t a problem, luv it only takes like 10 days for CDS to be pressed at the moment. It’s the damn vinyls that are the problem, with their 6-month delay. And if fucking Billboard hadn’t changed their rule when it comes to physical sales, we wouldn’t be having this conversation at all.

I didn’t want to read too much into this, other than she was waiting for the storm to hit?!?

End of September for the album or early October. august for the single + preorder.

People who heard the complete album don’t rank Solar Power or California top tier, so I have faith the other songs will be better. Mood Ring is said to be def better. I agree with you that something is missing in those songs. Like both songs get more interesting at the end. They’re both watered down NFR X COCC.

It’s really unclear how BoZ gets his info this time around… with Chemtrails, I was under the impression it was when the songs got sent to mixing that he ended up having them. Could still be the case, but would the new songs be labelled under another name?

Good God would be a very weird track name and even worse album name… Map of LA is beautiful… but as an album name? by the way, did BoZ confirm that the new snippet could have been (or is?!? It’s hard to follow with her) the title track? Or I just misunderstood? edit; I scrolled back a couple of pages and saw that BoZ said it is considered to be the possible new title track. That song will be ??? And a Nice continuity to Tulsa JESUS Freak, if the song is about sex and she says GOOD GOD in it.

Well it’s Lanaboards I am more than thrilled for Thunder but a little less for Cherry Blossom. That being said, it’s not a bad song at all and in the context of the album, maybe I’ll fall in love with it. I can’t wait for the album now. The lyrics just are ? on all the tracks we know/heard so far.

You described my first reaction to the three singles. I still love Blue Banisters very much (it reminds of the production of Heroin), Text Book is the the one that grew on me the most. Wildflower could have benefited from the production of the last minute a bit earlier, but lyrically it’s ?

Lyrically, she is at the top of her game, so far. If Thunder is really on the tracklist, it could be the “lyrically weakest track” and I fucking love Thunder and its lyrics

Neil really has a way of capturing the whole feeling of an album in his covers. The three singles truly give me “Lana at the cabin” vibes and this cover is perfect ? I can’t wait to preorder the overpriced box set with other pics from him

I’m reading that the album is not completely done. So maybe RCS still has a chance. and about the BB MV, if rumours about her not being with Clay anymore are true, maybe this is what is holding her from releasing it?!? Therefore a new lead and MV and joggling with the idea of changing the album name all together

This new album cover doesn’t make the Chemtrails one that ugly. Like it’s a continuity of it? I’m glad the damn selfie is gone. And we now have a new snippet to Shazam!!!
