I lost a bit of interest in the BB MV, honestly. It seemed cute, I might be wrong... but I’d prefer a new song over a MV where not much is happening. Maybe it’s going to be incredible, but I am really not super excited for it right now.

When the single is personal, she always seems to be quieter than usual. And these three are her most personal to date, and let’s not forget the covers are... a choice. I guess she didn’t want anyone to ask her about the content of the songs or comments about the covers.

Not sure we would get much info from him. From what I understood, Eclipse is still under the radar from Lana’s team. Therefore, he remains very cautious about what he posts regarding herald only posts when he is absolutely sure. BoZ doesn’t seem to be under so much scrutiny at the moment, but how much does he know about marketing and what is planned ahead? That I don’t know.

Yeah, I had a very good feeling it was fake. Diorleak is only reliable when they talk about other artists or repost what BoZ or Eclipse said (they truly are our only real insiders). But still, even if it is fake, I’d fucking love that EP connecting to the album.

It’s apparently the case (according to an “insider”). I’m not the biggest Billie fan, although I enjoyed her first album, but these new songs didn’t impress me at all: she doesn’t have the voice for that stripped down production. about Lana, I saw something on Twitter saying that RCS was a 5-song EP that would connect to BB... It’s probably just Wild speculation or “manifesting”, but I immediately loved that idea!!! And that would not only satisfy us, but it would allow her to take all the time she wants to finish BB.... Imagine that magnum opus

I know what you mean... NFR’s was a surprise because everything had started out so slow and low key and ended up having amazing visuals in the end (including the trailer). But... if we go back to the LMLYLAW MV... it’s pretty much the album trailer. It fits perfectly when she wrote it, the influences, the atmosphere and the collabs. but yeah, I wish there is an actual trailer this time around. I don’t think we’re ever losing in the end, but it’s always a stress when we are living it

I never had much hope for that song to be out June 1 in the first place, to be honest. Not with three songs out two or three weeks before.

So many questions with that pic in the studio ... mostly if BB is done and these new songs will be on the next album.... If she is still recording BB, we can kiss goodbye anything happening in June, but if the album is done, maybe Chemtrails-BB and LDR9 are made to be seen as some sort of “trilogy” or complement to each other?!? Chemtrails is about her relationship with fame and her music BB is (so far) about her psyche and what hurt her. LDR9 could be about the next move/ the more “experimental stuff” (with hints of country maybe?)

I’ve said it many times before in the COCC prerelease era, but if Yes to Heaven fits the overall mood of the album, with a different production, I’d be okay with it, even though I prefer Fine China to YTH.

I’d love Diamonds And Rust on BB... as long as it’s not Jack producing it. I really love her work with Jack, but his piano melodies are almost never as memorable as Rick’s and his covers are a bit meh.

Lol about your BB comment about the BLM line, here’s my analysis of it, because it took me a long time to see how the line made sense... Text Book is all about daddy issues... and her relationship with Sean was all about that, from an external POV. And he was a cop. Although I don’t think they were still together at that moment of the marches, the song is written as if the cop BF saw, at the marches, that she was not conservative or racist like him. And it was the breaking point. I could be totally wrong honestly and it’s one of her tougher songs to know what it’s about, but that’s how I explain the BLM line in the context of the song.

At least they have been intelligent enough this time around to wait for the singles to be out to post it easiest way to be sure: give the tracklist to BoZ.

It’s always the “problem” with personal songs released as singles: they fit better in the context of an album. I felt the same after Hope: I wanted more a week later. It was a good idea to release three at a time this time around, so it feels like a mini EP, and it might be a little less “dry”
