The title track sums up how I feel at the end of 2020... I'm not a Taylor fan like I said, but liked Folklore and Evermore. Although I would have preferred a mix of the best songs of the two, probably. Both have weaker songs IMO, but I know I don't represent what the majority thinks.

It’s a good point. The only « logic » behind performing a cover would be because it’s the album closer to release. A song from Chemtrails is very unlikely in my mind (the GP would be confused as hell not to find the song on the cover album). Do we know how many songs she will perform (isn’t two the standard for musical guests?)? Maybe a hit from her previous records? She seems so much more relaxed when performing covers... Maybe this is why she could do it?

I think she’ll perform one of her cover songs or LMLYLAW.

Since it’s covers and digital only, there’s not a précise amount of songs that need to be there. It could just be a cute EP even. When she talked about it, it sounded as if a couple of songs were already recorded. it’s the main reason why a delay is possible (it’s Lana here) but more unlikely. Plus imagine delaying an album that was made to help us with the delay of another one... That would be the meta of bad.

Even if it’s only 8 tracks...if they’re all amazing, I’d dig a cute EP to get us to Chemtrails. Summertime is already beautiful: anything in that vein will make me happy (still secretly wish she’ll include The Good Life, though very unlikely).

If it was out in January, I wouldn’t be mad. but I still think it’s coming on time since there is no limit to how few or how many songs she can put on that. Plus if she has the rights, she could throw a couple of old covers on the mix. anyways, Chemtrails seems so far away: I’m as « hyped » for it as I was when she first mentioned it on NFR’s release day.

I wasn’t so sure about the male choir at first (though I was getting the reason behind it; I guess I had wrongfully associated choir to what we got on Summertime), but I listened to it again and it really works! Plus there’s a weirdly « working » element to an all-male choir singing to her You’ll Never Walk Alone haha

The documentary is out and someone ripped the end of it, featuring Lana’s song. It’s not super good since we can hear a lot of talking in the middle lol. But her vocals are just amazing. there’s also the preorder of the vinyl on the team’s official website.

The official date is Dec 4. But I guess we can expect some bits going around Twitter or something once the doc is out on the 30th (Like when Doin Time was at the end of the Sublime doc in theatres). I think there’s a preorder of the single on vinyl on the 30th on the team’s website?!?!

I don’t get all the fuss about her changing hair colour honestly. Sure, she is beautiful when blonde, but is there any hair colour in that doesn’t suit her?
