I’m not sure we’ll get a tracklist / preorder before?!? The way I see this project: she will record as many covers as she can, with no precise number of tracks and if it end up being a 9-track album, so be it?!? I mean, she could record until release, really. I’d love if she included some of her previously sung covers, even if we heard them or have them. The Good Life needs to be heard by the GP.

as a standalone single, I agree. But I don't think LMLYLAW is meant to be listened to on its own. I guess it will grow on many of us in the context of the album.

I'm more and more hyped for this album since she released Summertime. That and her cover of You'll Never Walk Alone (the latter won't probably be on this but I wonder if Summertime will)

love her vocals when she is overpronunciating the words. So sexy. Reminds me of Why can't You Do Right (this should be on her cover album, btw).

The background vocals other than hers really aren’t that frequent in her discography and it’s a nice touch.

COCC is too uncertain to be hyped for it. This cover slaps so much. And the other cover she teased is already incredible.

Love Jack very much, but this production is just so awesome. If the cover album is anything like this, it’s going to be so incredible and even better than what I expected.

Though I’d love to have a Christmas EP at some point from her, I really don’t want a Christmas album right now: who knows how long we’ll have to wait after that for Chemtrails? If any good, that Americana album will have much more replay value than a damn Christmas one. i Hope the sound of it will have a « warm embrace » feeling the way LMLYLAW and You’ll Never Walk Alone both have. It’s much needed in those challenging times.

As far as we know, she still loves working with him. They were supposed to work on a Broadway together (maybe it’s the Alice soundtrack?) and the beginning of NFR was written with him. They seem to get along great and he understands and respects her vision of an album.

I wonder about that too. Like is it hymn/folk/country ish? Or are classics from the 60s considered American standards (like The Good Life)?

That Americana project really sounds like the complement to Chemtrails... I don’t think it will be a very long album, just something to get us through the drought. I wonder if she’ll include previous recorded covers that could fit the theme (Cactus, for example, though not very Americana).

If it happens on time, it’s a great way to give us something in the meantime. I hope it’s well underway!!!

Bah at this point... with the pandemic going on, nothing is going on as planned, except maybe a digital only album. In terms of anticipation, it will be NFR 2.0: tidbits, nothing, nothing, boom a month full of everything. I was expecting the MV and title track this month, but that aged like milk. That hype for that album has died down for me. Which ain’t a bad thing for my mental health.
