She’s gonna drop that one out of the blue, I think. It could be this week or after Chemtrails, depending on its release date (can’t wait to finally have some sort of calendar for her albums...)

Oh ok! Didn’t see that going, I thought it had happened on Christmas or something. So, yeah, ok, her arm isn’t the reason why we still have no news loll.

Well, she went to the ER, didn’t she? Or is her broken or strained arm something that was prior to Christmas? If so, even if she could technically update us on Insta, she mustn’t have felt like it (I know I wouldn’t).

Her arm is probably the reason why she didn’t update us about the covers album.

I’m trying tu understand the silence about this album: Does she want to surprise drop it like she did with Summertime? Is it done but she forgot it still takes a couple of days to upload on Spotify and all? Or is she still working on it? the only excusable silence on her part is if she is dropping it somewhere before the end of 2020 (very unlikely though). The way this could be the cover and I would love it.

Bah nothing new. I only wishes she’d say something / anything on Insta.

Lyric-wise: Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood. Her whole career, she’s been just that, misunderstood, by critics and GP very often. biggest success: Doin Time my personal fave: Blue Velvet. It’s something out of a twisted dream, and it’s still one of my fave MV (even though it was for H&M).

Interscope is already on board; it will happen. It’s when she is the only one mentioning something that we need to worry about. we should have known though that the announcement for preorder was all we were gonna get for Christmas.

She didn’t wish us a Merry Christmas yet, which she does each year. Not all hope is lost, I guess, though I’m not sure at all an album is coming today or in the next. Maybe she really thought this album was shaping up to be something that she wants to develop a bit more...

Her new bio on Insta sounds like lyrics that could be from « Not All Who Wander Are Lost » ?

I don’t believe it’s scrapped because we know for sure that she recorded with Zach for this, and I doubt they only came up with like two complete songs. it might be postponed a bit, or it could be a simple cute EP, or it could be the next album after Chemtrails, we knows, but we will hear it at some point (still hoping for a cute EP for the holiday break, until the title track of Chemtrails)

The visuals of the MV look insane. No wonder Interscope wants the album to make an impact sales-wise (with the damn vinyls), with the investment made on that MV.

If Chemtrails is coming sooner than March, then the cover album will probably postponed IMO because she wanted it to be a fully realized album rather than a small imperfect project?! March is ok with me; I just don’t want a Summer release because it’s way too far.

About the list/catalog some of you brought, I’d see those as « song possibilities » rather than songs to pick from. I mean, it’s her we’re talking about here loll. She mentioned Patsy Cline songs she wanted to cover (is she considered « American standard? » Vintage America though, which is right up Lana’s alley). I’m not expecting recent songs (nothing earlier than the 70s). And I’m still wishing for a HQ release of The Good Life (when I think of it, 2020 was good to me in terms of unreleased form her I wanted, with the Good Life and Life is Beautiful leaks and Yosemite « almost confirmation » on Chemtrails...).

50-50? i mean, I want to believe, but have no reason to. The only thing that would make it possible for Friday is because it’s digital only and is a small project needing no promo, and it could be a cute and small EP rather than a whole album. But yeah, it could be Sept 5 all over again loll. Anyways, she’ll say something this week if it’s not coming.

- I was right about her performing two songs and no news about neither albums coming (it really wasn’t the place to do so); - LMLYLAW is a good song for her and it’s where she’s at right now (cute L & C stockings!!!!); - Silent Night was cute but hope it’s not on the cover album (we won’t be listening to that song after the 26 lolll); - she didn’t even post a selfie yesterday of her coming performance lolll. - She is gorgeous AF. Last performance, I thought she was beautiful, but that leather jacket just wasn’t it. And it’s not because of her « weight »: she wore it last year and never looked good on her. - She seems happy. Which is super rare in those weird times. I’m glad for her!
