Even if it’s only 8 tracks...if they’re all amazing, I’d dig a cute EP to get us to Chemtrails. Summertime is already beautiful: anything in that vein will make me happy (still secretly wish she’ll include The Good Life, though very unlikely).

Not her best song, nor her best cover, but I just love it at this moment : it’s what I needed to bring me a little hope.

If it was out in January, I wouldn’t be mad. but I still think it’s coming on time since there is no limit to how few or how many songs she can put on that. Plus if she has the rights, she could throw a couple of old covers on the mix. anyways, Chemtrails seems so far away: I’m as « hyped » for it as I was when she first mentioned it on NFR’s release day.

I wasn’t so sure about the male choir at first (though I was getting the reason behind it; I guess I had wrongfully associated choir to what we got on Summertime), but I listened to it again and it really works! Plus there’s a weirdly « working » element to an all-male choir singing to her You’ll Never Walk Alone haha

The documentary is out and someone ripped the end of it, featuring Lana’s song. It’s not super good since we can hear a lot of talking in the middle lol. But her vocals are just amazing. there’s also the preorder of the vinyl on the team’s official website.

The official date is Dec 4. But I guess we can expect some bits going around Twitter or something once the doc is out on the 30th (Like when Doin Time was at the end of the Sublime doc in theatres). I think there’s a preorder of the single on vinyl on the 30th on the team’s website?!?!

I’m not sure we’ll get a tracklist / preorder before?!? The way I see this project: she will record as many covers as she can, with no precise number of tracks and if it end up being a 9-track album, so be it?!? I mean, she could record until release, really. I’d love if she included some of her previously sung covers, even if we heard them or have them. The Good Life needs to be heard by the GP.

as a standalone single, I agree. But I don't think LMLYLAW is meant to be listened to on its own. I guess it will grow on many of us in the context of the album.

I'm more and more hyped for this album since she released Summertime. That and her cover of You'll Never Walk Alone (the latter won't probably be on this but I wonder if Summertime will)

love her vocals when she is overpronunciating the words. So sexy. Reminds me of Why can't You Do Right (this should be on her cover album, btw).

The background vocals other than hers really aren’t that frequent in her discography and it’s a nice touch.

COCC is too uncertain to be hyped for it. This cover slaps so much. And the other cover she teased is already incredible.

Love Jack very much, but this production is just so awesome. If the cover album is anything like this, it’s going to be so incredible and even better than what I expected.
