  1. It is. This is what I was talking about a few pages back. Terrence’s mom had a feeling for the 17th... I trust her
  2. It’s true that with her, we never know. I never expected a song like Heroin on LFL, which was supposed to be a « happy record ».
  3. You might be setting yourself up for disappointment. She is getting a bit « old » to sing about those themes. Not that I don’t like them, but with each album, she is telling another chapter where she is getting a bit older with each record. The themes evolve as she does. The kinda raw tracks she did before UV or during UV, well, I’m afraid we will need a couple of leaks (if there are any) to hear exactly those again. The themes are still there, just not as plain as they were. On NFR, Venice, Cinnamon Girl and FIILY are all about dope and the bad guy type is hinted on HIaB. It’s just more subtle and maybe more suiting for a 30-something woman, I guess?
  4. Nah, I ain’t worried : I’ve been through too many pre-release eras to know she won’t scrap an album because the tracklist got leaked. Hell, she didn’t scrap LFL after two leaks while she was still making it, she won’t scrap COCC because the tracklist is supposedly out.
  5. Lol Twitter going at it again, publishing fake news about LDR, saying she is scrapping the album because the tracklist leaked and that she is upset over the backlash received with her recent Insta pictures. People are so gullible.
  6. I get what you mean. To me, BTD was always the album where she was retelling the story of her end of teenage - early twenties, so she seems « Cooly distant » to the emotions, not so close to the story. With NFR, the emotions feel more « raw » or exposed, probably because she was living that story at the moment. I hope COCC keeps that sincerity.
  7. His mom, with her psychic gifts, pretty much gave us all the info LDR wasn’t giving us during the NFR era.
  8. I don’t hear mainstream at all with NFR... It’s playing nowhere and doesn’t sound like anything on pop radio. Maybe they mean she is more « toned down »? And yet, there are at least three song titles with swears in them...
  9. I wonder how her May posts will translate on COCC and how critics could see « controversy » in that chapter of life ... She is heartbroken and can’t live without her man (which is mostly not what female pop is about these days)? That she is fragile / sad-depressed on the verge of attempting suicide? That she is deeply in love with her man and needs him? So many questions... Hope we get something in July!!!! I agree with you with the « minimal » production. I don’t mind a song with piano only, and I love that she chose that direction for NFR for a couple of songs. But COCC overall needs to go bolder and bigger, production wise.
  10. I'd be okay with one interlude, like a spoken-word poem with Jack's music (it really would be a preview of the audio book - or is it audio books?). Something that snaps, like Patent Leather, and that didn't make the cut with the books. It could be a good transition to «the new era» of her career. But if there's none, I'm super fine with that: we're about to get a lot of «poetry Lana» in the next months-year.
  11. Just one: Living With Myself. It’s a very good song, but Lana is just mumbling a few words.
  12. Stargirl sure is fantastic. That’s what I love about her collabs: we see a different side of her that we don’t see on her albums. True, not all of her collabs are great (Don’t Call Me Angel is bad, even her part can’t save the song; her backup vocals on the Jonathan Wilson songs are way too distant for my taste, same with God Save Our Young Blood). Imagine if Abel produced one of her albums
  13. I’m still hoping for that song too. It probably won’t be on the record, but we never know: I never thought TNBAR would be on NFR, so... if it doesn’t end up on COCC, I’ll consider this song buried.
  14. Plus that picture is from December as well, pretty much around the time Charlie posted the clip in his stories.
  15. The only way we could get a high-budget video would be if she had planned to shoot something at the end of 2019, which is possible but not certain either, if she was still writing the whole thing. Unless she had a clear and precise idea of what the lead could be back then (which is not like her, honestly).
  16. If it’s a traditional release with a lead single: end of the week or after 4th of July. If it’s a non-traditional release, with maybe no lead: maybe August? If we already have the date, I tend to think we’ll get a lead single by mid-July.
  17. At the very least, that song needs a title rework. Maybe not a complete rework, depending how the line lands in the song, but the title has to go.
  18. https://twitter.com/ldreyinfo/status/1186809320341737474?s=21 It’s a screenshot from her Q interview.
  19. Exactly. Although I’m not sure if Let Me Love You... is a line from a song she was writing or the title itself (the article is not that clear on the matter and we jumped to that conclusion because she compared that « magical and special line » to « Will you still love me when I am no longer young and beautiful? » and « Hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have »). Funny though: all of those tracklists include If This Is the End... and many include Grenadine Quarantine.
  20. Why do I have the feeling that the Lana référence of this article will be like in the NFR era: as for Lana, she is releasing a music album this year and two poetry books are on the way after that. Zero to none, IMO. It’s too old. Even it’s gorgeous (one of the best leaks we got this far).
  21. Can’t wait for August, when she finally posts the cover art and tracklist, and we can rub it their face. The rumoured lyrics are good actually. But did that insider tell how he got to listen to the new album?!? Because it’s honestly a lot to take in and believe.
  22. It’s true that those two got us thinking the tracklist was false. heroin also got us skeptical (didn’t we say it Was too much of a Lana title?). But honestly, all these tracklists sound more like a 15 year old’s wishlist of what a Lana album should sound like, based on her love of BTD. Seriously, a sound called Dollars?? The only one that didn’t look that bad was the one with the « art » from back of the album, and even that one has cringy elements (confessions interlude sounds a bit too Madonna to me).
  23. Sonically, I really see COCC as the continuity of NFR, kinda like Paradise was the continuity to BTD: similar in sound while being its own thing. As I said before, NFR is water to me, so I expect water-surf elements to a couple of songs then going into « air territory » (there’s that air element in the title). I love NFR, but I wish COCC will be closer in production to the last songs written on the previous record, or at least bigger. I love her piano ballads, but maybe a bit more guitars would be nice ?!? Her breakup probably influenced the songs of this album, the quarantine as well. Maybe the « end of the world feeling » we got on The Greatest will be more present (which I’m here for, it’s probably my fave song from NFR). She also began recording the audio book after NFR, and we know Jack si now on board, so maybe this one will have more « poetry elements » to it?
  24. Chemtrails... lost and secret sister... secret kid... Lana’s conspiracy theory album is on its way!!! Calling it: there will be a line on one song where she says she is leaking her own songs!!!
  25. A song called The Culture?!? Another one called Dollars??! I’ll be right back, I need to throw up.Also: Jack as the fourth producer, after Rick, Emile and Tim Larcombe?!? HAHAHAHAHA!
