  1. Stargirl sure is fantastic. That’s what I love about her collabs: we see a different side of her that we don’t see on her albums. True, not all of her collabs are great (Don’t Call Me Angel is bad, even her part can’t save the song; her backup vocals on the Jonathan Wilson songs are way too distant for my taste, same with God Save Our Young Blood). Imagine if Abel produced one of her albums
  2. I’m still hoping for that song too. It probably won’t be on the record, but we never know: I never thought TNBAR would be on NFR, so... if it doesn’t end up on COCC, I’ll consider this song buried.
  3. Plus that picture is from December as well, pretty much around the time Charlie posted the clip in his stories.
  4. The only way we could get a high-budget video would be if she had planned to shoot something at the end of 2019, which is possible but not certain either, if she was still writing the whole thing. Unless she had a clear and precise idea of what the lead could be back then (which is not like her, honestly).
  5. If it’s a traditional release with a lead single: end of the week or after 4th of July. If it’s a non-traditional release, with maybe no lead: maybe August? If we already have the date, I tend to think we’ll get a lead single by mid-July.
  6. At the very least, that song needs a title rework. Maybe not a complete rework, depending how the line lands in the song, but the title has to go.
  7. https://twitter.com/ldreyinfo/status/1186809320341737474?s=21 It’s a screenshot from her Q interview.
  8. Exactly. Although I’m not sure if Let Me Love You... is a line from a song she was writing or the title itself (the article is not that clear on the matter and we jumped to that conclusion because she compared that « magical and special line » to « Will you still love me when I am no longer young and beautiful? » and « Hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have »). Funny though: all of those tracklists include If This Is the End... and many include Grenadine Quarantine.
  9. Why do I have the feeling that the Lana référence of this article will be like in the NFR era: as for Lana, she is releasing a music album this year and two poetry books are on the way after that. Zero to none, IMO. It’s too old. Even it’s gorgeous (one of the best leaks we got this far).
  10. Can’t wait for August, when she finally posts the cover art and tracklist, and we can rub it their face. The rumoured lyrics are good actually. But did that insider tell how he got to listen to the new album?!? Because it’s honestly a lot to take in and believe.
  11. It’s true that those two got us thinking the tracklist was false. heroin also got us skeptical (didn’t we say it Was too much of a Lana title?). But honestly, all these tracklists sound more like a 15 year old’s wishlist of what a Lana album should sound like, based on her love of BTD. Seriously, a sound called Dollars?? The only one that didn’t look that bad was the one with the « art » from back of the album, and even that one has cringy elements (confessions interlude sounds a bit too Madonna to me).
  12. Sonically, I really see COCC as the continuity of NFR, kinda like Paradise was the continuity to BTD: similar in sound while being its own thing. As I said before, NFR is water to me, so I expect water-surf elements to a couple of songs then going into « air territory » (there’s that air element in the title). I love NFR, but I wish COCC will be closer in production to the last songs written on the previous record, or at least bigger. I love her piano ballads, but maybe a bit more guitars would be nice ?!? Her breakup probably influenced the songs of this album, the quarantine as well. Maybe the « end of the world feeling » we got on The Greatest will be more present (which I’m here for, it’s probably my fave song from NFR). She also began recording the audio book after NFR, and we know Jack si now on board, so maybe this one will have more « poetry elements » to it?
  13. Chemtrails... lost and secret sister... secret kid... Lana’s conspiracy theory album is on its way!!! Calling it: there will be a line on one song where she says she is leaking her own songs!!!
  14. A song called The Culture?!? Another one called Dollars??! I’ll be right back, I need to throw up.Also: Jack as the fourth producer, after Rick, Emile and Tim Larcombe?!? HAHAHAHAHA!
  15. I probably will preorder the physical CD from Universal this time around, if only for the chance of maybe having it shipped before time
  16. BTD: air . She is a bit detached to the narration. As if she is older and retelling that Story. Paradise: air but with fire pointing. UV: fire, fire, fire HM: air, with a bit of water. LFL: earth. She wants to find something real, after everything, something that matters and she wants to root herself. NFR: water, with its big changing emotions. COCC:??? Water and air, at the moment. But we heard nothing of it.
  17. edit: wrong thread. The second book will be out in March. As for Violet, it’s very hazy at the moment. Someone found an Amazon link that could mean that it’s coming in written form in November, by the same editor for the second book. As for the audio book... your guess is as good as mine. It probably got reworked with Jack writing the music (in January, she did say it was sounding unpolished), and Interscope is probably on board as well. The latest poem she shared, Leather Patent, is from the second book. So it raises the question: will both books be audio? Or will the audio book be a « best of » of the best poems from both books?
  18. NFR, to me, was water. I hope COCC has « water elements » in it on some tracks (surfy, beach like FIILY and VB), or even tropical elements like you said. I hope the clip of From Here to Eternity she posted a month ago is an indicator of the feeling of the album (or of a couple of songs). I immediately liked the title (or is it just a line from the song? That part of the article wasn’t that clear to me) Let Me Love You Like a Woman, and I hope it is still on the record (it’s very singer-songwriter, like NFR is). White Hot Forever wasn’t my fave title, though I liked how summery it felt and I imagined it about being in love. Someone mentioned that Jack would have said that that track was the shit and now I hope more than ever that it makes the cut, though maybe under a different title (we don’t want another controversy about her being a White supremacist lol).
  19. I don’t get why some of you want her to go independent. Almost everybody is complaining about her cheap MV from the NFR era: we would get a shitload of those for sure! I guess it would affect touring as well... And guys, Interscope, though giving her lots of space and liberty, helps her with a couple of guidelines for releases. I can’t imagine how it would turn out if she was the only one in control of everything (the numbers of projects that wouldn’t see the light of day...). As for the security of her projects, I don’t know. Her team seems to have finally got her stuff secured... I’d think twice before even listening to a leak of something to come if she goes independent, since it would be one of her primary revenue source.
  20. I really like the title, though more fitting for a poem than an album. It’s so unusual and intriguing. Norman Fucking Rockwell was bold, on par with Ultraviolence, and she needed to have something stronger than White Hot Forever as a follow-up (I wonder what happened to THAT title with everything going on in the world). I’m curious how the title track will sound like, how she will include that line into a song.
  21. HAHAHAHAHA! One thing’s for sure if it’s still the title: the title will be written in full on the cover and not in monogram form like NFR lolllll
  22. They probably didn’t listen to her second video, where she announced the title.
  23. True, that date did change... but Interscope probably wasn’t on board until it became a audio album.
  24. It’s true that nothing is ever set in stone. Maybe this is why I can’t wait for some kind of info from her, to make it more official.
  25. It’s true that they were wrong about the March 29 date. Same with Google. To be fair, she never mentioned that date, exactly like the May 26 supposed release date of LFL. All of the sites where they stand by the Sept 4-5 date probably based it on her posts, which is usually a pretty good indicator in the industry, especially if a press release confirms it (aren’t those issueD with a Lead single usually?).
