  1. If you put all the snippets together, the song’s about 2:35.
  2. The next single should sustain our wrath. August / September are now very likely. With each interview, she says a bit more.If she wants to release a couple more songs before it... plus i don’t see NFR as a summer release (June or July). Plus all the singles by other artists out now are for June releases. And no sight of a new single speaks to me that it’s coming end of summer.
  3. The fan in LA was a friend of someone here (can’t remember who though). The Elle Canada interview where she talks about NFR: https://mobile.twitter.com/LDReyInfo/status/1120729921402343424
  4. I don’t think it’s completely her fault: most artists have to come with a « festival set » that will please everybody. Most artists can’t play the new record for a « general public ». That being said, i’m Sure you will enjoy her show: she is good live, you just have to tell yourself it’s not the NFR tour.
  5. Honestly, for the festival season, she doesn’t need much more than one new song. She will only play for what? 70 minutes? She has to do a couple of her « greatest hits », throw in VB and MAC, maybe a new single and she’s fine. I don’t remember how that last festival seasons went on (the post-UV one could be an indicator), but I don’t think she played that many songs from the new record in festivals. If she had announced a world tour, now she wouldn’t have a choice to have NFR out before it (like the LA to the Moon).
  6. A fan met her apparently in LA and asked when it would be released and she’d say end of summer. The Elle Canada interview that got out last week (where she said she wanted to release a couple more songs before the album) reminded me to be patient. So in my mind, the album is far away and she will drop music randomly. It helps not to get too impatient.
  7. Isn’t mid-year considered May to August for the music industry? However, I still think we’re not getting the album before end of August, September being more plausible.
  8. Maybe, maybe not. However, at some point, as months go by, one of them will bring news and new music!
  9. Just see it as if there is no album coming soon and that she is dropping tracks randomly.
  10. Isn't it Hope Is a Dangerous Thing? My prescription: snippets only once a week. And move on to other artists until further notice. This is what I'm doing and I have lost the urge and obssesion for the album. Am honestly happier since.
  11. Well, I hope for her bank account it’s not her new full time job, if she wants to sell that books a dollar each.
  12. It really depends. Here, it’s the most hated thing since the plague. Outside of Lanaboards, it’s one of her best. People say it’s too much all over the place, that the lyrics are cringey, that the production is cheap and relies too much on trap beats. Personally, I love it: it’s diverse and perfect for this season of year. UV and were « mood » albums: that one plays with many genres while still being cohesive (many here argues that since its release though). After HM and before NFR, it was a good choice to have a more diverse album (though it wasn’t the objective when it was recorded: she didn’t have NFR in mind at that time). But I know it’s not the consensus here. On Spotify though, it’s her second most-streamed album, which means that casual fans loved it as well.
  13. Bastille released yesterday the second single from their upcoming album Doom Days. The first single was released... May 9 last year. In the meantime, there was new music, including a weird Mixtape and their collab Happier. So Lana is not totally different after all, though it’s very uncommon, to have almost a year between the first single and the album (which is very likely at this point).
  14. Doom Days, by Bastille Cellophane by FKA is just so good. Goodbye by Cage the Elephant and Light Years by The National.
  15. Me too. I love her with all of my heart, but she is stubborn as fuck and never does anything like anyone else. Obsessing over her is toxic and pointless. And now, we move along.
  16. I never thought i’d Say this, but I’m okay with the idea of two singles out before the album. MAC and VB were end of summer, Hope is winter, one new single for spring and a summery track after that, with the rest of NFR sounding very fall to me. It would kinda come full circle in a way: a year in the life kinda of feeling. I didn’t want that at first, i’d Still prefer the album already out, but I’m okay with that. Not sure the « I have no plan » will work out like she said though.
  17. There are no real insiders here... I think that guy is going with his-her gut feeling. Honestly, this time around, psychics were the ones that gave us the best predictions lol.
  18. Maybe it's not that she doesn't give a fuck about us, but maybe that she won't let us dictate the terms of this release? She sometimes had to, with the leaks. I'm just reaching here. One thing's for sure: her work is "safe" this time around and a possibe leak doesn't seem to scare her a bit.
  19. Like I said before, I think NFR is going to be the last "big album" for a while. She already slowed down her musical pace, this era of "I have no plan" shows she is not at the top of her game, she takes the time to live, she is writing poetry. Plus she wants children at some point, and there was the musical with Rick... So, many projects and so little time. Maybe LDR7 will finally be the one where we get an unreleased collection from her. We would be edging on the 10-year of her musical career as Lana Del Rey, many of the songs are already done and to remaster a couple of them would not take that much time. Plus this album could finally be the one that all the fans could be statisfied with, if handled correctly.
  20. Not an uncommon practice these days, to have 4 or 5 songs before the album, sometimes from a 10-song album. However, the pre-era is not 8-9-10+ month long...
  21. With each new (and few) we are getting this time around, we get one or two new things. So we know it’s not coming in the next weeks (though not a surprise), that she has no plans and that we are likely getting more songs before the album. So it’s gonna be a slow burner album with a slow burner promotion (if we can call it that).
  22. Ok! The «day-in-life», to me, meant that the album had no real super hits, like a minimalistic production, something mellow to listen it everyday. I never thought that her and her friends hanging out could affect the lyrics. I'm with you on that one, though: I don't want lyrics about her drinking matcha and doing yoga or something like that. So she wants to drag on the pre-release period... A Spring single would be welcomed very soon, Miss Del Rey, if you want to release a couple of songs before the whole damn thing. I do wish for you that she will be playing at least Venice Bitch and Mariners this Summer. But hey, we never know: she said she wanted to have a couple more songs out before NFR, so maybe a new single out soon that she will perform at festivals?
  23. Oh I'm so sorry! I don't remember that interview... I wa sure they had met before the Grammys. Like you said, she doesn't even seem to remember when she met him :/
