  1. going out of your way to make some sort of point of how apparently underdeveloped brazil is in a thread discussing thousands of people being in danger, and the death of a young woman, is very gross and insensitive, regardless of how developed brazil is, it's clear that everything that occurred was easily preventable, the people who were running the venue didn't allow free water, and they closed the vents so people outside couldn't watch the show, it got so hot inside that it reached 140 degrees fahrenheit, that's extremely dangerous and not fit for life, and it could've been prevented, it wasn't at all about how developed or undeveloped the country was, that wouldn't even be relevant anyway, you just sound very insensitive, ignorant... also classist at that also, it's funny that you somehow think USA doesn't have places that look similar to this, USA isn't necessarily the pinnacle of sophisticated modernity, and people end up in the hospital or dead from the heat here too, our summers can be brutal
  2. i'm sorry but this has got to be one of the most boring and obnoxious topics of discussion/debates on lanaboards

  6. well, in that case, venues should be providing water for free, i'm sure they make plenty of money from the concert tickets, merch sales, etc. i think they should be able to provide a basic necessity, water, for no charge, especially if it can be life or death on hot days
  7. i think it's just insane that they don't let you bring water, or that they even charge money for water at all, it's just WATER, it should be free and people should be able to bring water if they want!
  8. unreleased, part of her discography, not a part of her discography, whatever... regardless, it's her best album

  13. when lana saw the first slide of that post and had abstract, vague flashbacks to her performance of canal room in 2009 and the visuals she made for it
  14. omg... lana might actually know of my existence... all of my hard work being a lizzyologist has paid off!
  15. i don't think that's weird or elitist, i've been very upfront about how iffy i am on AKA being officially released, it's my favorite album ever and i'm very protective of it, i don't feel like it would be a problem as long as she doesn't change anything about it, it would be nice if she also released some extra stuff, like old demos, or music videos
  16. i'll accept AKA being on streaming services if we get a b-sides album containing all of the david kahne and steven mertens outtakes and demos also all of the music videos, leaked and unleaked, uploaded to her youtube channel in their original quality
  17. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER MUSICAL ERA AS UNIQUE AND CREATIVE AND NOSTALGIC AND COOL AND AMAZING AS THE LIZZY GRANT ERA

  20. heartbreak hotel is finally coming fun-fact: she performed a jazzy version of heartbreak hotel on october 24, 2008... forget cola (demo), WE NEED THIS!
  21. i just hope ldr10 will be strong and cohesive, in retrospect, ocean boulevard feels like such a mixed bag for me, some songs are great, like the grants, A&W, and candy necklace, but some songs i strongly disliked on first listen and haven't felt any desire to go back to since, such as margaret, kintsugi, fishtail, peppers, and taco truck, i feel like having so many producers leads to albums feeling disjointed and varied in quality, i know jack's so polarizing here, but i wouldn't mind ldr10 to be solely produced by him, because it would be cohesive, as long as they give us material as good as venice bitch and A&W, i know they're capable lana's albums which mainly feature one producer, or one stand-out producer (AKA with david kahne, born to die with emile haynie, ultraviolence with dan auerbach, honeymoon with rick nowels, and NFR with jack antonoff) tend to be her best or at least her most popular
