This is how I feel about Rick’s production. Maybe it’s the sound Lana tells them she’s going for. I feel like Jack takes it a step further though. Like on Venice Bitch, and we have other songs produced by him that we haven’t heard yet.

Yes, you can. Not everyone wants to stan an artist they're no longer interested in. It probably sounds c r a z y , but some people don't want to invest their time for a long time on strangers who happen to make art they like.

Ooof, you reminded me- I wanted to see her perform MTWBT sooo bad and she didn't perform it at our LATTMT show. So even if she does perform new songs, it'll be at random dates and she'll probably forget the lyrics or do half of it.

It's an huge privilege that I don't take for granted because I'm sure people don't have the means to buy a ticket or travel far because she doesn't go to every location. If I'm spending my hard earned money on any artist, I appreciate the opportunity but I also want my money's worth. The first two shows I saw her, it was a surreal and amazing experience. However, after the LATTMT, although I also had an amazing time, there were moments I found myself disappointed because being in a bigger venue, I discovered Lana was still performing as if she were in a small venue. Focusing too much on the people at the barricade, leaving the rest of us to just wait for minutes while she took pictures and take photographs with fans. Happy for them, but then it disrupts the show. Also hearing the same BTD songs dampens the experience, especially when you've also watched countless performances of the same songs before you've seen her live. And she has her audience sing the lyrics for her now, or doesn't sing parts at all which is another thing people are noticing is happening more. Cool that people go to every show and have the money for it, but if every tour has the same setlist, you've heard it all.

This is why I’m leaning on not going to see her this tour. Is it possible she’d make a big change like that? Maybe it’s the right time, but I swear she won’t let those BTD songs go. I don’t want to hear BJ/BTD live for the 478013638th time. Edit: and SS. I’m so tired of hearing that song in person.

All I see is praise for this album. I don’t see how it’s under appreciated. The production is ok. Rick’s work underwhelmed me. I think the hype around BTD is justified. It’s charted for years for a reason.

Idk, the hate on LFL has been pretty consistent (something the track list isn’t). Also, no offense to Honeymoon stans but my holy trinity is UV - NFR - BTD (Paradise Edition).

I think Love Song~ has that young teenage love vibe that the video is probably going for.

What happened to LanaDelNews?

I like the production on HTD, surprisingly. TNBAR sounds like it got the same treatment lyric-wise as BPBP, and I hate the “I just wanna party with you” line but I’m hoping it’ll get better in full. At least we’ll have it in HQ soon. Does anyone else think the production sounds louder than her vocals on Cinnamon Girl though???

I was neutral on Eclipse and his situation, but my god. Cool that you give little bits of info to maintain the hype, dude, but it’s another to act like you’re the only one deserving of gratitude when there’s plenty of other leakers who don’t constantly tease stuff just for the fuck and attention of it. It’s not your original content anyway. (And I hope he reads that- I’m annoyed af).

Lana never confirmed it was for the album cover. This was their 3rd mag cover, but she wrote second. Could it mean the album cover? Maybe, but she never confirmed it and she’s been vague af during this whole era. Says her poetry book will be a $1 and sold in mom and pop shops but her manager says it’ll be released worldwide. Says she’s a Cancer instead of a Gemini and gives a competently different time of when she was born. Says she’s going to cancel shows but doesn’t mention which ones. Lana wiki is also not always 100% correct either. And why would she turn to a different photographer when she keeps going on and on about how much she loves working with her sister? The official album cover we got was the second one. I really don’t think Steven shot anything for her album.

As much as I love the cover and I’m glad she put effort in the trailer, let’s not forget how unprofessional she was in the middle of it. She had to be told by Ben to actually redo the cover- and I know some of you guys like the UO cover- I like it too- but it just doesn’t suit the album at all. Another user said they love the witchy aesthetic but it seems misplaced, and I agree. Maybe for a future album, but not this one. And let’s not forget how lacking her music videos have been. MAC and VB disappointed me because she decided to recycle footage AGAIN (the lack of effort is obvious and now she’s gone from one recycled video to two during promo). I’m excited about the double music video, but I’ll keep my expectations low since other original videos she’s decided to do recently are also hit or miss (Love music video was great, but the LFL video was not... interesting). Love the cover, like the trailer, but she’s still not off the hook for me. lol

Every time I see the word "baddie" I automatically think of Lana's IG-wanna-be-famous-influencer friends and I don't see her dancers or Emma Tillman associated with that group. It's an insult to them like the font on this UO cover.

I don’t mind the NFR text... but then I do? Lmfao and the LDR part bothers me. The text just looks so misplaced, or maybe it’s just the font...

Hmm... well there’s the lyric we heard from the NFR snippet, “‘Cause you’re just a man, it’s just what you do. Your head in your hands as you color me blue.” The references to the ocean in MAC, “You’re lost at sea then I’ll command your boat to me again” + “Catch a wave and take in the sweetness. Think about it, the darkness, the deepness. All the things that make me who I am.” In VB she says, “Give me Hallmark. One dream, one life, one lover. Paint me happy in blue”. And those are the first 3 tracks... wow she really made a cohesive tracklist this time...
