AXS was such a hassle, but I finally got tickets!

Believe it or not, VIP packages are becoming this. To Marina’s credit, her VIP already seems a lot cheaper than other artists, who charge $300 or more for almost the same amount of items. I’ve paid $150 years ago for VIP GA and we got a poster + sound check + early entry, and I only liked the poster and early entry, since the crowd was pretty hectic and got worse as the night went on. But it all depends on the fans a band/singer attracts. I don’t think her VIP is that bad.

Basically Sky teases things and says her album is coming, then 3 - 6 months later she says circumstances didn’t allow her to release any music. There was a time she legit posted a date not saying what it was for, the day came and it turned out to be a photo shoot or something other than music and her fans got upset. Then she got upset at them even though music is exactly what people have been expecting from her for 5-6 years. It’s messy. There was also this funny incident where I think she posted that she finally finished recorded a song that (I think?) she said took her a year to finish. Not saying Lana works that slow, but the 6 month wait since MAC and VB and her whatever attitude toward NFR makes me feel like something is up w her and puts me off a bit.

She wants it to count as NFR promo.

This is my worst fear for this era. I was literally talking to my husband about her possibly pulling a Sky Ferreira on us lol

I just wanna say.... most of the visuals for MAC and VB are reused clips from HIAB, a music video/song she didn’t say when she was releasing. So not only have we been given LQ snippets of most of the album, we have already seen parts of a music video of a song that hasn’t been released yet. It’s underwhelming and I’m surprised some fans aren’t getting this is a new level of laziness coming from her. Lmao

I can’t remember either and it shouldn’t be this complicated for us to know when NFR is coming out. lol All I remember was she tweeted the date after many publications kept spreading the May date and I think she tweeted the actual date bc either fans were asking her a lot at that point or it was getting close to the rumored date and she wanted to stop the expectations since nothing was gonna happen by then. Or both. Idk. It still annoys me a bit how she announced the LFL date.

There’s a single... title... or image.... in her head. Which will get scrapped... then she’ll post on the last day of March of how difficult it was to come up with that scrapped idea in the studio and how her body/mind is failing her, and how the label is out to get her, etc., etc. Then she’ll play dumb the next month and the month after that... and then blame her fans that are left for expecting anything. Followed up by memes no one gets, blurry selfies, and retweeting more jokes about the time it’s taking for new music.

I’m still impressed by ‘bury a friend’- the song, the visuals. Love it.

Are they working on new material?? Omg I’m excited. *btw, also hoping they won’t scrap anything and pull a LFL, but I doubt it since she’s working with someone like Jack instead of Rick who usually doesn’t say no to her.

Freak was the beginning of her reusing old footage though... something she’s starting to do more and more and I hate it...

But Marina knows how to announce her new work and what to expect. If Lana took that long of a break, I wouldn't care either. It only bothers me when artists make false promises (*cough* Sky Ferreira - not saying Lana is acting like her, but just using Sky as an example). I think if Lana was a bit less vague and at least gave some effort like she did for Honeymoon, which wasn't so bad, then I think we'd be less impatient/upset.

I finally joined LB for the news and this is how Lana repays us. This is tragic. Lmfao

Yeah, but I thought it’d be less shows since she said there’d be cancellations, and it’s weird how there’s been little promo/announcements so it’s like... is she going to sing new... songs... is she doing a promo tour like she did for LFL? Idk, this is a long process so far of getting any info.

So, I guess we’re having another festival tour for NFR? Or wut.

All she has to do is be honest. Not surprised she’s ranting a g a i n and giving vague reasons. The fans she has left should do themselves a favor and stop hyping her and themselves up when she makes her next promise and focus on enjoying other people’s work. It’s a waste of time at this point. Being honest with yourself- whatever the problem is is the first step toward getting better. I hope she does that soon because her having that mindset is not going to change her situation for the better.
